But this is a good time for the new investor to buy any coins because the price is not too high and they can buy various coins. But they need to have basic skills of the trading so they can buy a low price and don't get stuck in the high price like the old investor. But I am sure that we can make a profit in this bear market because I am sure that there is a coin that can increase higher. It is enough to make a profit while we can and no matter how much the amount, it still the profit.

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin,vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

they do not buy more because it’s not a fact that their coin is good, increasing the losing position is the worst strategy(i'm talking not about such coins as ETH or TRX) . better to buy other coins.

Have engaged into long-term investments isn't good to make profit cause we don't know what really happen in the future either the price will fall or up.  We still be gaining profit even in bear season if we strategies our buy and sell scheme.

It can be ideal to diversify your assets into lower risk ones if they're too high risk or take profits if your assets have appreciated but if it's a good quality project then it can be beneficial to hold onto a portion for the long term just in case it ends up becoming worth a lot more when the market improves
