Nice work Raja! Thanks for the comparison list of exchanges.

Do you have the plan to list Livecoin in your list? Livecoin is active since 2015 according to the their ANN.

Will look into it, thanks.

Yes, I've used it a few times to trade Xtrabytes. It's a nice DEX and I'm actually surprised that I skipped it. I'll try to add it in a couple of hours.

Cryptopia should be removed.

Now they had the 2nd hack and saying that,
Quote
The report claims that the exchange platform does not have control over their Ethereum wallets’ private keys and that the hacker is the one in control.
https://ambcrypto.com/cryptopia-compromised-in-another-attack-by-hackers-loses-180k-worth-of-ethereum-eth/

So, I am pretty sure that cryptopia is gone for good.

Removed it upon your request.

Cryptopia is now back on the list! Smiley

Huobi asks for KYC else they restrict the amount you can withdraw. These are the withdrawal limits: https://huobiglobal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000074411-Withdrawal-Limits

I don't think Cryptopia should be added so soon as they haven't enabled deposits/withdrawals of many coins including ETH. Etherdelta and Tidex should be added to the list.

That's what I wanted to say as well.
Until they enable withdrawal, I will consider them useless. Give them some times before adding to the list in my opinion.

I leave it to you OP.

Luno requires verification unless you're only planning to send and receive bitcoins in the wallet. You can stick to basic info but it there will be limits for both deposits and withdrawals.

Bithumb also has KYC/AML implemented since May 2018. (I believe enforced for everyone).

Huobi asks for basic info (first name, last name, phone number, address, etc.) just like Luno and ask you to send other info such as Selfie, ID, etc. when you want to increase your limits.

Makes sense; I'm going to remove it (again) till they actually enable the withdrawals.

Good move.
If I spot the update from cryptopia about their deposit and withdrawal issue then I will PM you however I really doubt that they will come back with the normal operation.

Gate.io KYC is mondatory for withdrawal apparently (just put it as required because it's a tricky one, you deposit and then force you to pass KYC If you want to withdraw your money). Indodax also requires KYC for anything.

I sent Luno an email about whether they accept listing new coins requests, and what are the fees/criteria and this was their response:

Quote
Luno does not provide details about the specific feature request or product at this time.

We are always exploring new products and features, and I will provide feedback to our product development team about your request.

The answer didn't make much sense to me but from what I understood, they are not taking requests, rather they study coins themselves (not based on requests) and list them.

Telegram groups: KuCoin, Huobi, Gate.io, Bitfinex, OKex.

I linked the tweet for Bitfinex just as a proof/reference that it's their real Telegram channel because I joined it, and it looks kinda fishy. I got instantly restricted from posting on the group, a few minutes later, someone (with very poor English) contacted me claiming that he's from the Staff so I suggest everyone to be careful there.

As for the ones you already listed, HitBtc channel looks abandoned, they haven't posted anything since 5 months now.

You have done a wonderful job. I actually redirected to this page from google. I will be glad if you can add features such as the estimated numbers of users on each exchange site. As we all know now that one of the important factors to consider before listing on any exchange is the numbers of active users because it gives indication on how decent is the exchange. So many exchange this day have few traders but provide fake trading volumes in order to deceive people and get ranked in coinmarket cap.

Interesting suggestion. I remember I thought about it once but then gave up as there doesn't seem to be any suitable indicator in existence that can tell about the estimated number of users on each exchange. The only good indicator I can think of is the Alexa ranking, but then again, it's not like that it's totally unmanipulable.

Any suggestions regarding this?
