Not only the Ethereum but the whole market is average falling in which still affected by the bearish market. Most of the demand of Ethereum is from Altcoins and ICOs in which their market are so much affected too therefore if this will continue then expect further decline of the Ethereum demand in the market.

You didn't missed anything and same as yours lots of people or believer was surprised on what happened on ETH. Inspite on seeing positive news or updates about
it but seems the price are heading backwards instead of increasing.This scenario isn't really new here on crypto because even on BTC itself having lots of positive news but still

The news doesn't have anything to do with the price. The positive news may effect Ethereum in a good way in the future. But still we don't know when it will affect the price of the Ethereum since we are in a red market situation. Or maybe, it affected the price in a little way but still didn't able to stop the red situation.

I am not sure that it will be February. Remember, in November, we used to think that December would change everything for the better. In Summer, all hoped for the autumn bull run. I know one thing: we need to wait for more.

Not just ETH but most of crypto also affected and IMO, all we can do just keep support crypto by holding.
Personally I have few ETH and I'm still hold it but of course when I reach my loss tolerance, I sold it to minimalize the losses because most market show red trend.
