start wallet with console command :                                gtsf-windows-4.0-amd64 console

then in the console type this to create new address :        personal.newAccount("your password")

and this command to check balance   :                            eth.getBalance(eth.coinbase)   

if you want see what is your man address command is :   eth.coinbase

Read 14 post back you can choose another miner too . i Prefer Phoenix , 32.8 mh/s per gpu ( 580 )

So ... anyone get working how to check our balance because in my case is not working . I type eth.getBalance(0xe36a086cc064ae19b3ff5ba9424481b7f60d5269) and nothing happens .
