yes, we can buy altcoins at very cheap prices, even the price of etherum hasn't reached $ 500- $ 1000. this is a great opportunity, because etherum can still rise again to the moon. this is a double advantage 

ETH is currently very cheap compared to its value for the past months/year which is also a safe investment however if btc will go down to $2k for sure it will folliw. Easy 5x if it will go back to its ATH. As currently it is not advisable to buy new coins.

Buying cheap coins doesn't mean we cannot make a profit because sometimes, cheap coins can give a lot of money. I think it depends upon the coin and our luck on investing. Because there are so many coin that can make us loss even if we bought it in a very small amount of capital. I believe that some other coin are really becoming more less in terms of value today because of the huge dip. Buying the tokens that is high on regular price and now is very low is good to buy. It will make instant multiple profit. But just be careful on selecting good tokens to purchase. Probably buy the tokens that is in the top 50 in CMC.

Yes you are right mate, altcoins has a great potential to survive even during at the deepest dive on this bear market because they mostly have a platforms that people can use in exchange of the token they have created, so an altcoin that have a usable platform for everyone's needs will not die and crypto market will take a long live generations by generations.

Exactly, there are many tokens/coins that has less price as compared to other altcoins but their market cap is high so there are on an upper number in the coinmarketcap list of first 100 altcoins with reference to market capitalization. Let me give you one example ripple is trading at .29$ and ethereum is trading at 88$ but ripple has more market cap than ethereum.

The advantage of low price altcoin to trader is they get more amount of tokens and when price increases their profit also increases due to more quantity than of expensive coins.

If the btc market is down means the altcoins will bleed more than what bitcoin is bleeding.
