Price is not determinant of value in this case. Every coin enters the market with low price and it depends on its quality how it will develop and gain popularity. So the best thing is to do some research, check not only the price but also other aspects of crypto in which you're willing to invest. It makes a sense to buy a cheap altcoins due to higher price growth potential. Coins like BTC or ETH won't give you fast x2 profit or more unlike coins that are worth a few cents.

There are top altcoins that are cheap as centavo for its price.
It's not worth for those unpopular altcoins to gamble and invest.

It does make sense but totally depends on the project you want to buy the coins. Most altcoins with cheap prices seem to remain stagnant without new improvements or update. Buy into an altcoin with a good team and usecase.

yes, the strategy is good, you can invest now for a bigger profit later no matter whenever price grow. but investing less than a $1. maybe you will get 10$ - 50$ profit but if you invest an amount which you can afford to lose then you can also make like thousands of dollars from it. It's a doubtful recommendation due to low liquidity of low-cap altcoins and high risk of scam. Not all altcoins with a low price are good for an investing. You should better find out detailed iformation about project before buying its coins.
