Just tried to log in and got an invalid username/password error.  I'm certain I got the u/p right, and it was working fine just a couple hours ago.

Anyone else having problems, or is it just me?

  Fine here, m8

Do a recovery, ASAP. imho and then contact them directly to let them know that your account was potentially accessed....

Once you recover your pwd, make an email acct just for Gox and then use a dif password for it and gox.....  And buy a Yuibikey. ;p

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Good to hear, m8!  I assume that means you're back in your acct and every thing looks ok?

Still working fine here. Bots too.

It working for me does not rule out some issue, however. Just makes it strange, assuming epetroel was able to get back in with a password change..??

Glad to see someone else is having the same issue.  My bots access through the API stopped working as well.

From the logs for my bot, looks like the problem started at 4:27PM EDT.

Strange.  I tried pw recovery but it just gave a blank response, no error, and hasnt sent any email. I dont have any withdrawal or pw change notices in my inbox or spam filter and so leaning toward something wrong on the gox side and not a compromise of my account.

Tried to reset my password, but never got a password reset e-mail (checked spam as well).  Tried it with my username and e-mail address, but no dice either way.  I put in a ticket with support, but no response back yet.

At least the fact that someone else is having the same problem makes me feel like this is probably just a Gox screw up rather than actually being hacked.

Exactly the same thing here.

Out of curiosity - are you using the "new style" API with a token, or the old style u/p API?

Yea, old style. Wasn't worried so much about the security benefits of API method due to low capital at this point.

Seems you 2 have atleast that in common with your issue. Hopefully they are just working on something with that part of the API.   Undecided

Actually, had the time wrong on mine, was 4:47 PM EDT.  Still doesn't match up exactly with yours, but close enough that I suspect we both got caught up in the same issue.

Hmm, were your bots making too many calls by chance?  Just tossing out ideas. It will be near impossible to pin point the issue without some input form Gox's side.

Mine pulls orderbook every 10-15 secs, but that's via public API, no auth required and checks balances every 45 secs or so...so no, not spamming the API. It's been running that way since maybe June with the old style (non-API key) version of the APIs.

I wish Gox would respond soon!

Mine is similar, although probably checks balances more often.  It's been running without any issues for months though.

Got an initial response from a human @ Gox a little bit ago: "We are currently investigating this issue and will return to you as soon as possible."

Gox support is now "inquiring with our management group as soon as possible regarding this issue" but did report accurate balances on my account when I asked for it....so seems like no reason to fear that the account has been compromised or anything missing.

Hope the others with similar issues find the same.
