I think this is the right time, just waiting for the right moment when the price really drops. the lower the price when buying the better. I remember when almost all the coins went into free fall on September 7th from $52k then dropped to $44k on the 11th. It must have been a good time but that is all over and the market is starting to stabilize.

the principle is clear that when the price goes down it is a good time to buy and hold it for a while waiting for the price to recover and increase according to our wishes then we make a sale. but if i see this only applies to altcoins but not to bitcoin. because whenever you buy bitcoin you can be sure the price will increase in time and reach renewable ATH (halving).

but there is nothing wrong with looking at the moment of correction, waiting until the price is really worth buying. so that it will get a more appropriate price when bitcoin will reach its latest ATH. but not for altcoins, it's better to analyze properly because altcoins sometimes wait a long time, something may be missing from the stock market. other than you buy which is in the best ranking in CMC / CG.

If you know when prices will fall nothing could be better, but not everyone can do that. You are the holder then I think we can buy whatever price we want. Long-term the market is always rising we just to buy and hold as long as we can and make sure to get big profits.

most of them are short traders in the crypto market. they read the odds for a short profit to be had.
reading the market will be difficult actually because it all also depends on the support of the market and the community to make price movements.

I have bought the current dip, or at least... when market cap was still around 120 billion usd. Following my policy to buy after huge drops only, i planned to buy the next dip if market cap is around 60 billion usd. But should i not buy the current dip twice? Because what if the bakkt launching next month is succesful? What if it gets followed up by the ETF getting approval in the february sec-decision? What if it all comes paired with new developments that occur? Is this a realistic scenario for short-term?

What would you do, if you were following my plan/policy? I don't buy with large amounts so i can take some losses, what do you think is best?

I suggest you to analyze, you must be able to see the movement of each coin and each coin must be treated differently. Look at how prospects are on a coin, you can't do the same thing. Buy now why not, now is your chance to invest, besides that you also say not to buy in large quantities to minimize your financial losses. Buy, why wait for the load if the value goes up then you will regret If the return value goes down you can buy again to take deeper profits and crypto is unpredictable.
