I am now investing only in bitcoin and alternative coins. I'm not interested in investing in a chisel for the reason that it will not give me a high profit. Bitcoin, though risky, but he gives a good profit. I'm ready to take risks

We are profitable because of the high volatility, but the gold does not have such volatility, unfortunately, only in times of war, crisis, great disasters.

The student must engage in learning and not jobs. Now you earn $ 100, but then lose $ 1,000 because work distracts from school. Always remember that no one knows how long live bitcoin and what price it will have, and your knowledge will stay with you for life.

We need both, many think that you need to be only a student but the problem with that is that many businesses ask for experience too and that is the very first hurdle you will need to overcome if you can get a job while you are studying do it and get that precious experience.

Correct mate. It is more wise to invest to both investment vehicle and it is an all time good idea to diversify our investment - we shall not put all of our eggs in one basket so that if ever some thing happened, who have some fall back.

Yes, I respect everyone's opinion but I have slightly different opinion from this one. Personally, I would go with Bitcoin if there is a gold against it because past performance of Bitcoin is far better than Gold (I am aware of the fact that past performance is not a guaranty of future movements but still it gives a prediction of expected trend). I think investing in gold is secure as compared to that of Bitcoin but when it comes to the expected annualised returns, I believe in Bitcoin.

Go to APMEX.com, which is a legitimate and reliable source for buying precious metals. And gold is NOT a short-term, high profit investment. It never has been, and it never will be. Gold is used as a hedge against inflation and a long-term store of wealth. You won't get a big profit from gold, but in the event of a collapse of whatever currency you use in whatever country you reside, that gold will still have value. And guess what else? If BTC was to suddenly collapse to lows, gold will still have value. Putting all of your investment solely into BTC is a huge risk. There is a potential for great returns if you know what you are doing. But there is also a potential for huge losses with having all your eggs in one basket.

Yes, you are right because of it always good for diversification of our money into both of them. I see there is good potential in Bitcoin but don't under estimate the value gold. We have to divert our investment into different sectors of investment.

Yes, investing to Bitcoin interesting than Gold, the fluctuations on Bitcoin market always strong and helps me earning good profit from that. But with Gold I can't do that because the value of Gold in current is stable and not easy control by anyone.

Gold has nothing to prove, that's right, but most people here are only interested in future gains, and for that reason Bitcoin is undoubtedly the best option. On the other hand, no one will ever force you to go for one of the two options, even though that was what OP was asking for. If you seriously believe in a scenario where internet won't be accessible, you can choose to have positions in both assets. In my case, I have around 30 grams in total across various gold bars right now, which I would like to increase to 100 gram within 2 years. I could buy it right now, but I prefer to have this money aside for Bitcoin.
