Muce [crypos.io]:

Today we have 2 updates regarding Hosting service.

1. We have released a "settings" button for your hosted masternodes.
By using this button you will be able to check some more masternode details and also redeploy this MN or change your collateral TXID.
For example, if some coin has a collateral update now you don't need to delete an old masternode and start a new one.
You just need to generate new collateral transaction and then select "Change collateral TXID" on a settings window.
After that masternode will be redeployed with new collateral and you will receive a new masternode.conf line for your wallet.

2. We are happy to announce a loyalty program for masternode holders.
From now on you will get a personal discount of 5-25%.
Discount depends on the number of masternodes that you are running on Crypos Hosting.
You may find more details about discounts on "Our prices" section. Your discount will be displayed on the balance page.

                    Wallet Update 3.3.7.0 - Multi-tier Reward Update

As you can see in the picture above, the amount of reward generated for each node is almost equal to / already sowing the initial target that the team wants to achieve. The team intends to create a multi-tier masternode with an equivalent reward system (tier 5 masternode produces 5x tier 1 masternode reward) so that no tier masternode is benefited.
And based on the results of monitoring for 1 week, it seems we have reached the target results because the reward masternode generated has equaled the number of tier 1 masternode targets and is calculated based on multiples.

Another critical update for the TWINS Wallet.

We found a typo in a code that would allow the overriding of minimum staking amount. This is not a protocol change and you do not need to restart your masternodes, but please update your local and VPS wallets before block height 333500 to avoid network split.

Some explanations about the work of masternode.

How long is a full cycle again?
kemi:
Hey guys, some clarification on the cycle lengths: Suppose that there are only tier-1 masternodes in the top 10%: this gives a much higher probability of winning, than having all tier-100 masternodoes. Due to this, tier-1 masternode may win faster competing against only tier-1 masternodes than a tier-5 masternode, for example, would win competing against all tier-100 and tier-20 masternodes.
The main point is the individual cycle length for a masternode depends on what is in the top 10% when the masternode gets into the top 10%. However, as the masternodes move in the queue, the combination of masternodes that get to the top 10% is constantly changing, therefore, the average cycle time for all masternodes is the same, even though it may be shorter or longer at some times

Do not hesitate to ask your questions on the discord channel, where they will answer you much faster, every opinion is important to us.

Currently MNO displays invalid data, they show the Twins team block around 17s where in fact the average Twins block time ranges between 120s (seconds). For you Twins users, make sure you get accurate information by checking directly on our Discord server or by visiting our official explorer.

Alex [new.capital]:
The New Capital exchange, the Source Force and our homepage are down

Bad news: the physical server has hardware failure, specifically - no access to disks - could be raid controller failure. The hosting service support team are looking into the issue and we hope they will be able to find a replacement to the failing hardware, and we hope that the data is not corrupted due to the failure. We do not know how fast this can be resolved.

Good news: we were prepared for such a fatal failure and were planning to launch an alternative system for full redundancy on additional cloud provider, this time on virtual infrastructure to allow scalable growth and seamless backup, but had no chance to start it yet. We will now leverage the situation and deploy the new site using the backups on an additional cloud service provider.

Lets see what will go online first - the hardware fix or the new site. In both cases, we can not estimate the time and we ask for your patience. In any case, all our funds are safe.

Your service looks great! You setup an exchange on a non redundant hardware system. It means for me the team has a lot of IT experience. And now ALL systems are down, even the website? What you are telling about? The website is running on the same machine like all other, correct? I will go all in!  Grin

Edwin [new.capital]
Status update:

Hardware was fixed by the hosting provider support team, they have replaced the server motherboard, but hardware version differs and our team is facing driver incompatibility issues.

We now have access to disks, data is not corrupted and accessible - means we can restore the exchange to the very last second of its operation.

Simultaneously, 2 more teammates are deploying the system on two alternative cloud service providers.

We do not know what will workout sooner, and we really hope to be back live soon, but we also know that it could take days to fully restore the services from this fatal and unfortunate outage.

SourceForce and Chain Review are fully operational.

Explorer Twins

Here are the Twins explorer links that are active and can be used after the update and update process:

Masternode.Online Data Update
Right now you can use their platform as usual again because they have updated the Twins tier masternode statistical data.
The data they are currently producing is more or less the same as the data that has been directly generated by the team. So you don't need to worry about checking data using their platform again.
