If I remember rightly LedgerX was one of the countless things that was going to 'save' us what seems like years ago now. Then we never heard of it again.

What did we need "saving" from?

They were granted DCO and SEF registration by the CFTC in July 2017. The price went parabolic shortly afterwards, although it was probably just one provider of hype especially when compared to Segwit activation.

I've heard LedgerX's volumes have been increasing considerably over time but I can't seem to find data anywhere. Either way, I think futures/forwards are a much bigger deal and will see much higher demand than the options and swaps markets they already offer.

It's not launching on July 22nd. They're initiating 'user acceptance testing' whatever that means. My guess is that they'll be long beaten to market by others. I don't really understand the nuances but it looks like they are seeking NYDFS approval first to persuade CTFC to approve them. I don't really get how LedgerX got it already if they can't.

Anything from 27984 dollar to infinity makes me a winner! I'd say the chance of me winning BAKKT is about 60 times more likely than me winning Q3, and if I look at historic performance on https://bitcoinaverage.com/en/bitcoin-price/btc-to-usd, it could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 years

Nothing much it seems. "Testing" started yesterday. Announcing the testing phase and hyping it up feels like a delay tactic. Who cares about testing? They still don't seem to have a launch date for trading.

Considering they wanted to open it last year already, it's actually quite sad to see they've only reached a testing phase now.

Well, what do you know, Bakkt is testing, following all the delays to launch. What were they doing before today then? Not testing?

Since we're talking about probility, I wager there's a higher chance of BTC dipping momentarily to my price guess of 8888 just before Bakkt launches, than there is of Bakkt launching without another new date.

Even though I have some reservations about these kinds of games, it is interesting to see that the rules of this particular game had incentivized bullish predictions, even if some of the actual game participants might NOT have read (or understood) the actual rules language.

I'm sure we all realize we lost, I just saw the news and figured I should share with everyone here since I'm sure the last 5 people participating are probably dying to know.

Ah yes I did know I lost a long while back, the smiley face sad face thingie micg did helps remind me every time haha.

My English I just realised totally said something else but I meant to say I think we are still going down, so the winner is probably not going to change in 40 days. Can I blame typing and thinking on mobile?

Bitcoin does have a strange way of proving predictions wrong so throwing my hat into da ring of destiny.
