With the coins I traded with and shorted them on time the situation is better than with those I just hodl. I have also
ended up with many shitcoins as they lost so much in value that there is no sense of selling it now.

Yeah, hopefully and it should be like that, unfortunately sometimes life isn't as beautiful as a drama that ends happily like in a movie. Be patient in waiting and had some intelligence, but still get the results were not appropriate. We should know that not everyone will win later.

The bear market wasn't unexpected. Traders who compared 2014 charts knew it was coming and knew that it will go at least to 6000 dollars. We all saw it lose pace at 20000 and turn into a correction. I did not expect 3000 dollars but I knew it was going to correct. I thought it would stay at 6000 but the BCH dumps came and took us lower.
I'm surviving because I don't care about low prices. I know it's going to go up one day.

2018, was definitely a bad year for crypto truth be told. Although for a whole of development its been promising but I expect 2019, to be much more better in terms of gains. Keep believing!!

2019 is not far from now and i think we might have seen the worse in 2018 because 2018 bear market came more like a surprise to all cryptocurrency enthusiasts and before we could realize the whole thing the market could not recover which have forced most of us to become holders of some altcoins and different ICO's token that ain't worth holding and now we are almost there in 2019. During the bull run a lot of analytics predicted that Bitcoin could reached $50K and above and now the reserve is the case throughout the year 2018. This year have taught a lot of us different lessons on how to cope during the bear market. May i know your own opinion on how you were able to scale through and survive during this unexpected 2018 bear market...

Well, I guess I did some good things despite of the bear market, I joined bounty campaigns so that I can acquire coins and token while the market is still not good. Also, I HODL and HODL to keep winning, because when I sell it I am the one who will lose.

The right step in 2018 is to walk slowly. We know 2018 the bear market and until now there are no signs of a Bull run coming. Following and participating in bounty campaign programs is one of the right alternatives, considering the red market situation. But I still believe that things will definitely change better. If I see significant price moving I'll stay in crypto but if not making blog and forex will become my answer. This year is very hard to us and I believe many people lost their asset and time in significant value. I already analyze crypto and I'm afraid there's price action in high value in middle year, so wait will wasting our time. Up to you but please do something else.

I just have to hold with what I have in this year and wait what will happen in the market by next year 2019. As per bounty, I stopped doing social media campaigns because Bounty payments are getting cut numerous times during the campaign because of the bear market and probably wait for another bull run to start before doing bounties again.

Predictions are just predictions and no matter what they are based on, this whole crypto market is still too easily manipulated by the big players.

As we head towards mass adoption, the manipulators will find it much harder to do so...

But to get mass adoption, we need some of the big crypto projects to move closer to their end goals and plans and really deliver what they say they will deliver - in other words, coins and projects that change their reality from "perceived" value to "real" value will be the catalyst for a market increase...whenever that is, is when it will happen...

I agree with you. it took years for the market to recover. therefore I prefer to wait and not trade until then it starts.
