Depends on what you mean by "future" as well. If you mean 2019 than it is not decided yet, some people think it will continue being this risky investment, some people (including me) thinks it will be time to finally increase. However if you mean "future" as in 10 years from now or generally from now on until we all die, than everyone agrees that crypto will be getting bigger and bigger with time.

We all talk about how the price was 20 thousand dollars and it went down to 3 thousand dollars and all that right now but if you ask any sane person what the price will be in the year 2060 they will tell you the price will be MUCH more than what it is today, not only because bitcoin will eventually go higher than this but also dollar loses value overtime so gold, houses, stocks and of course bitcoin all will worth more dollars.

I think the near short term looks incredibly bad for now, by near I mean this week. Right now there is no news or nothing major that could change bitcoin or crypto for the better in the next week. Good news is Bakkt seems like they got the green light and they will be doing some great investments to bitcoin but that's not right now that's at least 2 months away.

Hence I believe we are going to have some horrible times in crypto before we see the daylight again. For the foreseeable future there is nothing good coming up. There are a lot of people who are trying to find a way to recover their losses and when they are really rich whales like winklevii twins they can afford to first put more money in to make that amount back later on but us small investors can't afford that so many small guys leave the market. Its going to be a tough challenge for all of us but I hope we can overcome this period. If we do, afterwards will be like heaven for all of us.

Crypto was a way to make some easy/quick money but that was only in the beginning, after the first couple years things started to get way more difficult and extremely risky

In the previous year it was also a way to make money quickly and you may not know that it came after three years dumped market. So we can expect a quick earning in the future as it is not hard for the crypto to recover after it see a dumped market and to enable us to make money.

If you believe in crypto world then you don't have to hesitate to invest on some crypto. You don't need to invest all your income but little by little and be sure that it is legit.

Well when the topic is about the future we only have predictions because nobody knows what possible happen in the future whether its bad or good. But for me crypto will last longer for more many years and as long as many people are going to trust and believe to it then there is big chance the future of cryptocurrency will be good. And since the crypto is widely become popular in many country then possible many people will get interested to it.

I'm very doubtful of the crypto currency market right now because of the current bearish market. Butbif you're asking when to invest, then I'd guess it would be best to invest now more that ever. I mean since everything is down you'd make a good deal on the coins and when the bear market is over then it would be green all the way.

For true crypto traders, current bearish market conditions can mean opportunities, because they buy while observing crypto price movements. Based on experience after the bearish period ended, the bullish period came. The bullish period usually has a longer period than the previous bearish period. When the time comes, the crypto holder will smile because  profit.

In the past, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies experienced both positive and negative growth. Some of its sharp price declines occured before its 2017 bullrun and all-time high so I believe that the future of cryptocurrency is still bright. Savings should not be invested entirely on cryptocurrency alone because it is risky. You need to set aside a separate fund for your crypto investment in which you can afford to lose.

You need to take your decision yourself.  We just explain our opinion regards. Crypto is a great platform of investment.  So that we have to learn it well.  There are lots of ups and downs happen on the market for that its always so tough to make a plan to invest.  The year 2018 is a red year of crypto it has fallen down on so deep. I think its should be a great time to invest on crypto. On the other hand there is no question more that its have a future or not cause it has changed lots of life future already.

For me I will just joining signature campaign and bounty campaigns although I am not sure whether it is good project or not but at least I have made a research about it. No matter what happen I still believe that there is recovery to be happened soon.

You have to assure yourself about the project you are going to promote through bounties and campaigns. Otherwise, you may join a scam project which will lead you to be red tagged because of promoting scam and you will also earn nothing from it. In other words, you are wasting your time and energy to promote such project.
Indeed, we do not know the future of crypto and your choice to participate in bounties and campaigns only is reasonable enough because you dont take any risks (money).

We still can't say that for sure. Especially with brewing tensions in the middle east and the pacific. If things don't escalate into full blown aggression, then crypto will probably have a good future. I'm even thinking there will be others like crypto and blockchain that will pop up with even better features.

All of the great technologies has their own great and bright future. Most of them will be developed more because of their demand and some of them will be upgraded into something based on the people's need. Though we don't still need Bitcoin and crypto currencies in our daily sectors, most of the countries can't still support these technology though they cn use it in a regular way. Internet connections may be every where but they lack of knowledge and the technology to be used. We still need some time, for now let's focus on our investments.
