Yeah, loving too much altcoins is not good because it will always dump and you will just miss the chance of having good profit if you continue to hold on that. Setting your target price is much better, always think that this market is not stable and it will always pump and dump so make sure to be wise and have more patience. Don't trap yourself in a wrong coins, know how to exit and take profit.

Yes you have right OP. I also have some "favourites" coins that i trade, but as you already say i also have a loss for a coins i choose to hold to long and i still wait for bull run, but after i put total i made from crypto i'm in profit so i will not sell even if go much lower, and i'm satisfied with what i have.

I am more optimistic about the future of altcoin though it might not be profitable in the mean time. It might no doubt give back in future when it will rise. In addition, people have made profits in altcoin as well.

Do not talk like irrational individuals. Didn't you notice the growth of Altcoins in the past few years? Only a momentary fall should not be regarded as the reason to let go Altcoins. This is a cyclical process and the market will revive in future with Altcoins again in full swing.

All altcoins are affected with this dip , thats why we cannot say that it is only dependent  but yeah your right there were tons of way to earn a profit on this market not just by investing or trading .

You have did a big mistake if you invested only on a single altcoins. Diversify your investment on some altcoins, it will lessen the risks of losses. I don't think it is the time for you to regret it. It is the decline period, so why not you just wait for the next bullrun or rise cycle. Actually you haven't lost yet. Be patient!

Patience can be a good choice but this will greatly affect your psyche at this point and will easily make you depressed for long periods of time. If the market wants to return, the number of investors must increase in the next time and then the value of altcoin will increase.

What you say is true for the current market. But what the future will be, no one knows. And nobody will tell you that you should only love an Altcoin. I think you heard this sentence. I don't want to mention but I have lost many btc just one coin. Just think it will go more up and didn't sold. In a result price dropped 4X. So I want to say don't love any coin, just sale when you are in profit and go another coin or wait for drop price again and buy it. It's very difficult to recover once drop an Altcoin. One more thing, don't invest your all fund on single coin. It will loss more, who know it will up or drop.

Some altcoins are worth to invest, though i see your fault is that you only invested on a single coin which is a bit hard when times like this most altcoins will starts to diminish due to the bearish market. I think it is better if you just hold it more and wait for the right time to sell it. It is not worth to sell during bear market.

Sometimes its just good to setup a margin at which you take profits and then close maybe later you might just decide to buy at the dip but holding for long doesnt help Know the duration to hold either monthly weekly or daily might just help

On investment world it would really just like a gamble.You would really need to risk in order to earn something in return but somehow you can set precautionary measures that will really give you the
chance to hit the right altcoin or project if you do make proper research. Just don't focus too much or going all in because this will surely put you into difficult situation once the coin had dumped.

As long as altcoins can give me a profit, I will use it to trade, but once the altcoin makes me disappointed, then I will sell it and find another coin. There are many altcoins we could use to search a profit, and we don't have to choose only one or two coins because this will only limit us to make the profit itself. Don't stop for just one coin especially if you have many btc, use your btc to split into many coins so you have many coin assets which will give you a big profit in the future.

I will do the opposite thing, if it has made me profit then that is the time I would sell.
Most of our coins value are down in the previous year, and I'm sure there are a lot of people who sold their coins even at a loss.
My strategy might not work all the time but I followed it all the time, I wouldn't sell any if I cannot make profit, I'm used to holding and wait.

To minimize losses, it is strongly recommended to divide your investment, this is true.
About the coin that is preferred there is nothing wrong and your loss because of the lack of information about the bitcoin market, I like some of the altcoins because of they give profits to me. I more think rationally where we also have to analyze coins that we like so we don't experience loss.

yes, this is business, when you love it too much, it certainly can make you lose without you realizing it. preferably, we always make good decisions in this matter. You know that altcoin, and bitcoin always have unstable prices.

The advice not to love any coin is sensible,  you are not here to invest your emotion but your money and if you make good decisions, your money increases and with bad decisions you may lose it all!
