Today bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, eos, has gone up over by 12% gain on coinmarketcap over 9billion dollar has been trown into the market in less than 6hours.. is this the pump?? Are we looking at a bull run??

It was just little bounce from bottom because they had dropped much, if you want to see real bull you can look to end of the 2017 and january of 2018, maybe some good news come soon and this bounce return to bull of course.

The whole 2018 except for January was all corrections and even we've seen a little bounce it will be bounce down again as those who are trying to make an exit are selling when seeing a little rise, still most of believers will keep holding and hoping that this new year will show some high again.

We haven't seen any price effect at all, so I don't think the bull market has arrived. There has been a partial recovery over the last couple of weeks, but only from $100b to $130b across the full crypto market. This is compared against over $800b at the start of 2018. We have a long way to go before we can say the bull market is back, I would say we'd need to get over about $250b first, as this would mean we had broken through the resistance that held for a few months in mid/late 2018.

100% agree, even though how down we are, we are still help and hopeful for the next bull run to come soon.

Crypto now is on the early stage, there will be lots of swings due to volatility but once institutional investors put their money, volatility might reduce.

It's good to see a increase value of those crypto but I think it's not enough to conclude that the bull is here. It can be a small rebound or a bull trap as we know that those whales are manipulating the market. Anyway let's hope that we can see a real bull run for this year.

Probably, the price increase cannot still be considered as a bull run because it's just a small increase.
But, if this will continue for at least a week, then maybe I will try to position myself and buy coins for short term, I could also be wrong.

We will need months of positive growth before we could tell if we are in a bull market so like always people are drawing conclusions when there is nothing that can tell us that the bull market has in fact arrived, and this is a reason why so many fail as investors or traders since they let their own views to distract them from the reality right in front of them.

This is not enough for the appearance of bulls and a full reversal of the market; constant attempts are leveled by even more frequent corrections.

I think we are a long way from the next bull run, the market has shown no signs yet of stopping the bearish trend that we've had for the last year. We'd need rises of about 100% from where we are now to push us up past the previous support level and start the next bull.
I do think 2019 will see a bull run ,just not quite yet.

Bitcoin will bounce back soon but the bull can't be determined if its about to come for this year. What I'm sure of is that as long as you accumulated and bought while its the dip, you're in good hands and you're going it pretty good. Every time the market goes on correction, we will see to it that a bull will come.

Bitcoin will bounce back soon but the bull can't be determined if its about to come for this year. What I'm sure of is that as long as you accumulated and bought while its the dip, you're in good hands and you're going it pretty good. Every time the market goes on correction, we will see to it that a bull will come.

when you see that bitcoin bounce back , that is also the time that the bull has official arrived  because the definition of bull if price increase right  ?  also , the market has already been undergo from alot of correction including last year but why theres no bull that arrived ? hmpf   something strange  ? maybe there is someone that manipulating the cycle of cryptos . who could it be ?  maybe the whales and crypto dolphins again  .

We are in a bearish market and it will remain until institutional investors not enter crypto.
This can happen starting from January 2019 when BAKKT is launching.
Pumps are not equal with bull market.

In 2016 we were in a bear market and there were no institutional investors to bail us out and we recovered and went above the 2013 ATH. If this were to repeat we would have to break 20000 again by the end of the year. And we don't even need this much to call it a bull market once again. If we break 6000 it will already be a bull market. Is that so hard to do without institutions? Not in my book.

At the end of 2018, we do not see anything as surprising as pumping prices. It's just that the price of coins starts green but the price is still very low. And now 2018 has passed and new hopes are now in 2019.

There's no sign of a bull yet. I think we'd need prices to be about double what they are now before we could even say that the bear trend might be ending. We all want prices to rise, but at the moment the only rises we see are often shortly afterwards by deeper losses... the trend I'm afraid is still downwards.
I do think we'll see a bull market this year, just not quite yet.

you are right, because we cannot know for sure when the bull will happen. then we must be careful and precise in investing. bulls can happen at any time, but we ourselves must still monitor market developments, so that we can get ready for the bull.
