i use My Ether Wallet for basic erc20, bitcoin.org for btc wallet and Atomic wallet for other basic like Waves, EOS and other.
basicly, everyday i just use MEW because almost of all i have is platform erc20.
in mobile i just use ImToken it fast and simple i think.

I prefer using both types of cryptowallets - online MyEtherWallet  and cold-storage hardware Ledger Nano S .I have been using them for two years already and I am very satisfied with their high-level security.

In my opinion, just increase the security features, because there are still many wallets that underestimate the security of the wallet. Like 2-step authentication, like Mew which has been used a lot, he doesn't have that feature even though the feature is very important

Which perks and features should one look for in a wallet?

Thanks in advance

First, what coin do you want to use ? If you ask about Ethereum, then the best wallet for newcomer is myetherwallet.
If you want more secure wallet, use the metamask extension as your ethereum wallet.
Other coins than ETH such as TRON, i think using Tronlink wallet is good enough.

I think it's high security and low transaction costs. Coinbase is really a great wallet and it helped me trade thousands of dollars. It is completely safe and the transaction fee is very cheap.
I transfer ETH to exchange and the fee is 0.1 $. It is always low and so it is trusted by many traders.

But if i am not wrong coinbase is a web wallet and web wallet dont give control to you so it is not recommended to use web wallets because any time they can ban and your all funds will get locked. Even if they get hacked your wallets are also in danger. So always use hardware or desktop software wallets which have control with you.

I am sure that the main advantage of the wallet is its safety. You must be sure that your assets are protected. Hardware wallets are the most secure in my opinion. Their cost is very small compared with the benefits that they bring to their owners.

I like secured, reliable, user-friendly wallet and of course one with low transaction fees. I really enjoy using our local wallet since it has a lot of functions, you can actually convert your bitcoin to either eth, xrp, bch. Along with that transferring to other wallet as long as it's from tha same local wallet is free. Wecan also use it to pay bills online, shop and a lot more.

Before now  I have been using Imtoken for my etherium and erc20 tokens but since discovering Trust wallet, I have since made it my primary wallet for erc20 coins and coinomi for the bitcoin and other non erc20 tokens.

Now is the right time to use hardware wallets.  Because they are more protected.  But they have a minus they are much more expensive.  But I think it's worth it.

As a hunter, I trust one purse mew. I don’t consider other wallets because it’s the easiest choice. Not all multi wallets support new coins.
There are not only mew which supports tokens , for example take eidoo , or trust wallet I heard also supports erc20 tokens
Actually, wallet is not only for tokens. Maybe good wallet must can save almost all coin especially big coin like bitcoin and ethereum. Maybe if MEW can save bitcoin, will be good for them because old bitcoin wallet already support Ethereum.
I think blockchain is the best bitcoin wallet. Ethereum and for all the bounty hunters myetherwallet is the friendly because everyoy use it for bounty reward. No need to support BTC in MEW because most of the people avoid mew for security issue. If blockchain supported BTC,ETH and another few popular alt coins.

Above anything else, it needs to be safe. You must investigate the safest option whenever you get a new coin. Better if it's able to get connected to a hardware wallet or store your stuff in cold wallet.

Also an easy to use interface, being popular and well accepted in the community, providing you with the private key and being web-based without controlling your crypto (instead of providing a downloadable file) are my own preferences.

To avoid crime activities such as theft and hacking, I use a hardware wallet. Where I can store my digital assets safely on there. I use Trezor to store all my digital assets. BTC, ETH and ERC-20 derivative tokens can be stored in Trezor wallet.

Or you can read about the safest way to save BTC here https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/wallets/

it's just a personal decision. Yes, hardware wallets are secure, but if you take care of every security steps for not exposing your private keys you should be also fine with it Smiley You just need to play on the safe side as always and work with a clean mindset without doing bad moves

You can use free online wallet Blockchain.info or Coinbase both of them are very good. I have been using Blockchain.info for more than two years without any problem. It is very easy to use and safe. If you want to spend some money from pocket then go for hardware wallet such as Ledger Nano or Trezor both of them are very good. For altcoins myetherwallet is the best or you can also use metamask.

It seems to me that this is a very delicate question.  And everyone must decide for themselves where to keep their money.  And it is advisable not to tell anyone about this.

Choosing the project, the coin, the exchange and the wallet. These four are basic pillars of this crypto trading thing. If anyone would be missed, your directions would shake off. Don’t let yourself get into trouble if you aren’t satisfied with anyone of these pillars. Just like this, wallet is supposed to be secure and friendly. You should feel comfort and safe and it would strengthened your trust once you use it.

Look for a convenient and availability of such wallet. In our country, where the availability to withdraw btc into fiat money, I've been using coins.ph wallet. From there,  it can easily get the withdrawn money from any supported money exchangers. Also, look for the lowest withdrawal fees. It is very important for the lesser fees to still save up our money.
