Well i think the worst thing is really depend on us or maybe on our own decision on the feild of crypto. The only worst thing occur when we are going to lose our self control and on our emotions. I believe that we can earn a huge amount of profit if only we have a great patience because from the beginning of crypto we can all see that it is unstable and mostly it will always rise after the dip. So there is no worst thing in crypto if we have patience because all our loss due will maybe become a profit depending on our patience on waiting for the best price to sell.

in my experience whenever you wait around for bitcoin price to come down you are either going to be disappointed and miss the chance to buy at the price that it used to be because now there has been a rise.
or the price can fall and because of your mentality you will end up waiting for more drop (cheaper coins) and then you end up missing out.

well I can say that you are right , good things never comes easy thats why we really need to work hard and convince ourselves not to sell our bitcoins during this time. Though bitcoin is falling , you can still see some improvements regarding its price. We need to have long patience to survive.

as for "preparing for the worst", you seem to be forgetting that this current price is after a huge 80% drop. this IS the worst and even if price by any luck goes any lower it still doesn't make the current price a bad entry point.

I agree with everything written and to be honest, I noticed that this apocalyptic topics are growing all the time. We are in 'the worst' and as we speak, we are pulling ourselves out of it right now. The price will continue to oscillate a bit in the weeks to come, but I don't think that it will go below 2.5k, that's what a lot of experts are saying these days. The thing that we can debate about right now is what is the peak that we can expect this time, how far will it go once it starts climbing.

What is the worst thing that possibly happen by the way? I think bitcoin has been there, through the worst and many speculative ideas spreading around. But, I do believe even it has gone through the worst, the best day will come and everything will be profitable for everyone. Especially for those who invest for long-term investment.

Anywhere I look I dont see such a thing, although I am always prepared for the worse. It is not support about the project anymore but mere money making. ICOs are the best example of it.

They could not do it with bitcoin because of its volatility and that is why I am staying with it. It is my ace of all the crypto currencies that I own.

Well, that is FUDs and a lot of them are spreading in the internet like a wildfire. A lot of people or investors actually read this posts or statements and it is being done for years now. Every time I heard or read this topic about Bitcoin, I can only say that Bitcoin is alive for a long time now even if it is experiencing a lot ups and downs. It will is stronger than ever as it has a lot of supporters or users all around the world.

I'm sure the forecast of the author of this topic will turned out to be wrong and i thing that the bitcoin price bottom was at $ 3000, i thing that it was the lowest point, where everyone had to make a buy if he wanted to buy cheap Bitcoin.

I think over the Xmas, holidays, New Year and Chinese New year we will see more downturn and also volume dropping. I think this mini pump we saw in prices was just a small pump so the whales can cahs out some before the holidays so they can enjoy more profits. All the small fish again will get caught out buying thinking that there is another bull run coming. I do not see any sign off a bull run before the 2nd quarter or third quarter of 2019, nearer to the Bitcoin blocks halving again.

If you are watching it in every second, you will guarantee getting piss off and stressful.
But the story will be different if you just buy ,hold, and forget that you ever purchased in the past. After 5 or 10 years later, you realize that your investment has been grown exponentially !

Off course that we have to be ready for worst case scenario. Investing in any field brings certain risk and things could go wrong or simply not developing the way that you thought that will. Same is with crypto currency investment. Especially because we have seen and experienced bad trend and we are still in it.
