Let's all be prepared ,the way I'm seeing things I think bitcoin hasn't find its bottom yet ,I'm guessing around 2500$ before we see better recovery ,always remember cryptocurrency is never for the weak ,be prepared and do what you do best ,things will surely turn around but good things never comes easily .

as for "preparing for the worst", you seem to be forgetting that this current price is after a huge 80% drop. this IS the worst and even if price by any luck goes any lower it still doesn't make the current price a bad entry point.

The worst of what? Only speculators with huge aspirations for massive profits are fearing the "worst" now, because they are only invested in Bitcoin for the profits. True investors that wants to use this technology as a alternative payment option, can still use this token, even if it goes down.

The worst scenario already happened when Bitcoin price dropped from its all time high down to under $4000. And how can you say that it will continue to drop to $2500? do you have any reason that might affect the price to go down on that price range? Because you can't just say that without any reason like other people here that starts a new discussion about what will happen to the price without any proof or analysis. And also anyone can make an analysis or speculation but there is no guarantee that it will happen.

We are already at the bottom mate, many big traders have close their short position ,more over we are already in the worst spot right considering a steady great fall all through out the year 2018. Despite this l don't believe bitcoin will hit 2500.

most people who start a topic like OP or comment on the price, are not sharing their speculation about what price can be. they are instead sharing their wishes about what they want price to be. and that is the clear case of this topic. OP is calling it a "guess" but the correct word is "wish", he is wishing for price to go to $2500 for whatever reason.

the problem with times like this is that market becomes unpredictable. we have seen price drop sharply down and a couple of days ago we saw it shoot up in a big ass green candle!

You are right the real recovery will come after all this crash in price as it has happen before and the saying that state that nothing good comes easy is at play after all this crisis and the trouble the good days will come, but to predict when and how is what we can not say because since the market is highly volatile it makes it unpredictable.

i am afraid bitcoin is becoming a shitcoin the entire world will laugh at.

a big problem is the death spiral caused by loss in investor confidence, combined with retailers eaning and selling it.

I am not swayed by such views, posts, and comments anymore. I have observed that many in this space got in with the mind of catching in on the fast money syndrome. So when that seems not to be happening, it is like expectations postponed.

If you don't want to get disappointed again, its best not to expect something big will happen. But $2500 is much worse I hope it doesn't have to go that way.
I started to trust the market again when it spiked up to $4k so this must be the start. Price will swing at these range I expect. I don't really care if it stays that for years as long as it sticks to that range.

I agree with this, we should not believe the speculations from random people since there was no clear and authorized information which may be a support to the person's clain and for me it is never enough to believe something unsure, specially in this type of community which every detail of the news is important like today we are searching in darkness due to lacking of detailed information towards the current situation.
