Not yet confirmed, We are not gonna rush. First 1500 blocks will be 1 reward

God this dev is an idiot. Not here for launch, doesn't realize they coded KGW to kick in at block 35000, and now expects people to mine for 2 and a half days with no reward. Please just refund the IPO and kill the coin, with this kind of massive incompetence you're bound to fail.

i still think relaunch screwed the masses to satisfy the whales. in the long run 1500 was still an early enough fork, and it wouldn't of wasted everyone's time

dude look at the investors list  Huh how many whales do u see.

You two idiots or what ...
what do those who buy this coin for btc? Angry

it's your own damn fault. You rush and buy a brand new coin that had a failed launch, so you can have it now. You should try and plant it in your virtual garden maybe you will get a virtual money tree and become a virtual millionaire.

Easier for my rigs to find coins.    What a 2.5 day delay does is sets the actual relaunch for the weekend....   pretend it is not relaunching until then and you will feel better!  A slow launch is good.

A re-launch is the best option, that way investors won't lose out.

If the invested BTC was in escrow, how would investors be losing out?

If I'm understanding this correctly, a relaunch means that everyone here just wasted 2 hours of time and resources, as opposed to only two (apparently garbage) devs having to refund a handful of BTC.

Are there other factors that I am not considering?  The choice seems fairly obvious to simply cancel the IPO...

exactly what i was saying.

Yes why think about the 50-60 people who actually invested money in this  Roll Eyes .

time (and electricity) is money... and how many days ahead was 1500 really anyway?

- P2Pool ANNOUCEMENT  -
Also, should this coin launch, I will be hosting a P2Pool for it at:

http://pawn.blockfound.net/ (domain will be active tomorrow, connect directly to the IP address below)
Username: wallet address
Password: anything, does not matter

Advantages to P2Pools?
Easy - With P2Pool you do not need to log in and create an account. Any time a block is hit on ANY p2pool you are instantly paid out your share.
DDoS Resistant - If your p2pool goes down you can set a backup p2pool and not lose your shares, connecting to any pool gets you the same shares!
Paid More - If you actually hit the block you get paid an extra .5%!
Safety of Funds - No pool managers to mismanage your funds, no wallets to go down, no rip off pools that never actually pay and just steal your hash
Faster - P2Pools provide work faster than other pools.
Distributed Network - When you connect to a P2Pool you are not allowing a pool to chance gaining more that 51% share
Paid More - P2Pools pay the miners fees to the miners!
Instant Payment As soon as anyone, on any p2pool for the coin hits a block, you instantly get paid.

No waiting, no signing up. Just point your miner to get started!

How To Connect:
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://198.12.78.137:7061 -u PawNC0inWalletAddressHere -p anything

F.A.Q.s -

I connected but am not getting paid very much, why?

Due to the way the PPLN (Pay Per Last N Shares) payout system in P2Pool works, slow or very unlucky miners may not receive the first payout for up to 24 hours.
However, once the first payout is received, the payout for the miner will grow to match the miner's mining speed. The system is designed to punish pool hoppers - miners who switch pools to get the maximum amount of shares.  When we first launch everyone will have the same amount of shares, but when you first join, it will take time to get your "normal" payout.  If you disconnect you will see that you get paid for up to 24 hours after you are no longer mining.

I seem to get more stale shares when mining on P2Pool, is this affecting my payout?

On P2Pool stales refer to shares which can't make it into the sharechain. Because the sharechain is 60 times faster than the Pawncoin chain many stales are common and expected. However, because the payout is PPLNS only your stale rate re

See u again.  your auction makes me laugh.

Saw ur acution in the GPU thread. Good luck!

Auction Ending at 11:44:59 PM EST.  Buy 5,000,000 GPUCoins Now! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=496045.msg5615420#msg5615420

Current bidding is below.  Please remember minimum bid increase is .1 BTC.

AUCTION WILL END 59 MINUTES and 59 SECONDS AFTER BLOCK 2600 IS MINED!

Bidding format:
"I bid .6 BTC for Batch 2" or "I bid .2 on all batches" or "i bid .8 BTC for Batch 1, 2 & 3"

Live Auctions:

Batch 1 - 1,000,000 GPUCoins - Current bid: .7 BTC (Jackblack90909)
Batch 2 - 1,000,000 GPUCoins - Current bid: .7 BTC (anonymous)
Batch 3 - 1,000,000 GPUCoins - Current bid: .7 BTC (iampingu)
Batch 4 - 1,000,000 GPUCoins - Current bid: .7 BTC (sgh858)
Batch 5 - 1,000,000 GPUCoins - Current bid: .7 BTC (mingcoin)

Happy Bidding!

I'm not intended to offend somebody.

But it seems that this guy  tagged is an unlucky man.

When he "auction" in the GPUcoin thread before its first launch, you know how many failures the GPUcoin had.
Now here he is!   Pawncoin failed again.

Is it a coincidence???

Ha! Maybe I should stay away from IPOs? Wouldnt be so bad if I wasn't in the east coast. I got kids, sleep is at a premium!

yes time is money, we waited 12-14 days only to see our investment halved in 2 hrs  Shocked and we are wrong for complaining.

Invest 1 BTC, IPO gets cancelled, receive 1 BTC back.

I'm seriously trying to figure this out so I can empathize with you.  I'm just not understanding your problem, where I know very well that a lot of people just wasted a lot of time and resources for a relaunch.

your investment didn't halved, you still woulda made a profit. you were also right to complain. just saying more was wasted overall this route. things woulda played out fine if it kept going
