I have been in the Bitvest signature campaign for 5 years and a couple of months and I think its time for me to leave and say goodbye as I just don't have the time to make regular posts in this forum anymore and also I have not been able to earn merit so I will leave and let someone else fill the hero spot. Its been a pleasure working with Bitvest for all these years and earning close to 2 Bitcoins during that time which is something I thought I would never achieve. Just remember that when I started Bitcoin was just a few hundred dollars so back then we were earning a lot more in sats then now but it just goes to show that you can achieve anything if you stick to your goals and work hard as it can pay off in the long term.
OK, enough of me rambling on, I wish everyone in the campaign all the best and to the current and previous campaign managers. Thanks for everything and a big thanks to Lightlord for an amazing campaign which has stood the test of time and I believe will continue on for many years ahead.
Goodbye!
Good summary. I wish you the best of luck.
I take this opportunity to ask a question that I would like @CryptopreneurBrainboss to clarify and that may be of interest to all of us and that has to do with what I commented in my last post in this thead:
So, if you wait and remain in the campaign, you will end up earning more because eventually some spots will become available. You'll either rank up vertically, in tiers, or horizontally in bitcointalk ranks.
Is there a preference to rank up horizontally or vertically?
In a practical way: as vella85 leaves a spot in tier B of Hero/Legendary, Granzis could move up to number 1 in that position and iTradeChips to rank up vertically from tier C to tier B.
But on the other hand, RaltcoinsB is Hero member currently occupying a Sr member spot in tier B. He could occupy a Hero member spot in that tier and I, who just got promoted to Sr member move from my current member spot to Sr member in that tier, B, both moving up horizontally.
I would like Brainboss to explain what the criteria is in these cases, or if someone has been in the campaign for quite some time and this has happened before, to explain what the preference is.
