That's not too hot, I found mine was running at 39-40 (when it was inside a cupboard ). Many hardware errors on one blade at 1280. Took it out and there were a lot less errors and running around 30

One thing to note if you are mining on a multipool, make sure you remove the no-submit-stale option from your cgminer conf.
I am getting 30.8Mh/s local with 29.2Mh/s poolside at the moment

seems there are a few things that can be fine tuned in the cgminer option. good thing is innosilicon basing their miner on 3.9.2 , so a good start , a lot of things are possible. including pool switching with nicehash or betarig kind of rental service.

I replaced the fan with a 75cfm one, and the temperature went up 8 degrees. It is also very hot in my room because I'm in the attic and all heat has a tendency to go up. Tomorrow I will look for another fan, something in between. For the time being I'll keep the miner running at 1000MHz.
Edit: I don't understand why they didn't put a 140mm fan in, there is room enough. Maybe I will modify the case for a bigger fan and make some holes in the side for an ATX PSU.

Up and running. I took the Original Innosillicon image that enables 1280mhz. Both minis are doing 31 Mh/s+ per blade and not that much HW errors. 5s):31.06M (avg):31.09Mh/s (pool):29.34Mh/s | A:1774781 R:0 HW:110 WU:26860.9/m 5s):31.57M (avg):31.30Mh/s (pool):26.12Mh/s | A:230187 R:0 HW:57 WU:23912.0/m I guess I'm Lucky ? Interesting, I tried 1280MHz, avg. was 31,3MH, but pool only 22,5Mh/s (!). When I returned to 1200MHz, then avg. around 29MH and pool 26MH. But I have also similar 30MH A2 unit from lightningnasic (only blade version without case) and with 1280MHz there is avg. 31,3MH and pool 29MH (both board) stable So it looks that some are "A" and some "B" quality...

Well, I am not 100% sure of how things work yet, but I contribute the lower poolside hash to both being on an auto-switching multipool (I guess the switching takes time = less mining) and the difficulty of the coin (I'm guessing at a lower difficulty someone might 'beat me to it' and my work would be invalid?)

I replaced the A2-Mini fan with a Scyte DFS123812H-3000, the flow and temperature are now the same as with the Nidec fan, but the noise is a lot less. The power consumption depends strongly upon the temperature, at 33 deg. C it is about 340W and at 43 deg. C about 400W with all the same settings. With this rig it is important to keep the temps as low as possible.

I heard a rumor that the new A2 miners will come with 12 chips per blade instead of 8, is this true? I would like to buy a second miner but if the new ones are more powerful I'd rather wait. Any idea when the new miners will arrive?

And you would hear this where ? I read that somewhere on the forum, but don't remember exactly where. 6 blade boxes with 72 asics total. probably not Mini's yet. You'll have to search for it.
