Looks far fetch to see ETH back to more than $500 again in weeks. I do have some ETH that I keep but I don't expect it to be huge in a year again. I'm willing to wait for years, I may sell or keep it forever til I badly need the money. Speculations are weirder these days, this I guess is because holders put their hopes a lot on ETH. There has to be more than the coins on top of the CMC such as EOS and XRP.
Youre right when you said ETH holders put their hopes alot on ETH base on the previous record of the project and the professional level of the project developer teams and this why the communties want vitalik buterin and the rest of the team to implement the shards and casper as soon as possible. With that been said I will advice to wait till next year Q4 and for EOS and XRP such coins doesnt worth it due to it been centralized. |

They have chance but it's only a little bit. But for sure in the near future it will turn again to $800 and take note not only that because more than that plud heres the bonus it will become thousands dollars plus become the next bitcoin after few years.

It should be green days, I am expecting that total coinmarketcap will be more than 200 billion dollars. If it happened then whole crypto market will be green and every trader will be happy. BTC at 10K$ and ETH at 600$ is the estimate. Let's see and wait for few days.

In a bullish market we might have seen it happen, ETH quickly rose from sub $100 to over $1000 without any major upgrades. But in this market it's hard for any coin to experience real growth. Even coins with major announcements seem to experience growth only to have it wiped out in the next sell off.
I was very surprised if in such a close time the market could grow quickly. but I also expected that to happen. whether it's next month or throughout the next year, I will wait for the market to grow very well again. The recent growth we had has almost all disappeared already, it was a normal reaction to a long period of selling. The price is now finding a narrower range to sit within where it will likely remain for some time. I suspect we could remain between 3k and 4.5k for most of 2019. |

If ethereum is hard to obtain doesn't mean it will get expensive,the analysis you made went wrong the prices gone deeper again after Christmas so in January $800 looks impossible. |

Ethereum was disappointing all year long..Had a little move in the last week of the year..Numerous scam projects that were launched last year were one of the factors affecting Ethereum..I think the price will increase in the new year thanks to both fork and new projects. |

Although Ethereum is a good coin to invest, but I don't think the fork will really push it to $800. I'm seeing perhaps a good bump to $200-$300 will be the tops. But we will have to wait and see, if we somewhat see some semblance of a bull run in January its possible to push the price but not to $800 levels. Ethereum needed so much money to go to that price and I don't think we have it next month. |

I believe ethereum will increase even altcoin too, but to be able to reach its peak price again or $ 800 or maybe more in the near future seems difficult, but the crypto market is difficult to predict what will happen even though the possibility is small.
I don't think it will. New platforms are coming, investors are interested in new things. In far future it might reach its old all time high levels not now. |

I suspect that this pumping was created to make money on this fork. Perhaps in the end of January, the hype will begin, and many buyers will come to the market. They will create liquidity for those sellers who are now pumping ethereum. Thus, at the end of January distribution will be likely, and then ether fall again.
Hope I'm wrong.
What I think it is happening is that whales are taking a position in ethereum before the upgrade and that is what it is making the price of ethereum to go slightly up, but as the date gets closer people are going to begin to buy more and more ethereum and this will create a small bubble that will probably last for a few weeks so if you are interested in ethereum and you want to make some profits this could be the perfect time to invest in it. |

no, for now i think it's too difficult for ethereum hit the price $800/Ethereum even any moment of forking in ethereum blockchain, maybe even if the price are growup in just $300-$400/Ethereum

If there is a bull run we will see that ETH might reach higher than that price if bitcoin reach a new ATH. Though there is no news about whether the bull run is coming but we have to wait and see until it comes. I know for sure that most of the altcoins will fill with green in colors during bull market. |

I really hope so because 25 - 28 didnt bring much of good new about altcoin but lets hope the market auto-correction is actually completed because so many are already buried and dead in that wave We had so many losses along It will be good to relax a little

it is just a rumor and there is not too much authentic information about it. ETH's price is now quite low but it is impossible for it to grow strongly in the near future. BCH shared its value for BSV and no development is too big here. I think ETH is the same. |
