Many days ago they banned me from the telegram chat just for asking a simple question why users should use their private key. It did not seem a safe method in my opinion. It was clear this project was scam ..and we advice many people here on bitcointalk and on telegram about it.
Not only you they also banned me and other many users claiming they also got banned for asking those kinda questions like ETCV wallet safety and about the project road map and when ETCV will go to touch exchange but telegram admin behaviour was rude because there have no right answer to respond because project was clear SCAM. I saw how the telegram admins responded to all people who asking about their wallet and if its safe to input our private key. But all of them got banned for Posting a warning not to used it, its a clear scam behavior. Too bad, still some people lose money on this scam by sending ETH during their promo sale. |

I can't believe it is a scam.I originally wanted to join this project.I didn't do this later.It seems that I have a correct decision.
ETCV fork was fishy and suspicious from first time when it launches because a lot of responsible forum members starting research and they asking about ETCV team. Actually which people working behind the scene because team development was hidden. There were tons of negative news about them pretty quickly after they wanted to launch their fork and as you said well known members also raised concerns. The problem are also many fake bitcointalk account that push scam project just to let some body to buy scam coin..really sad! This project was scam since longe time and many time i did advice too about it but many other complete ingnored the message. I would not be surprised about that, even some real icos have created so many shills accounts to spam the shilling thread about its platform or ico. This to create noise around the crypto users on this place. that's not a new thing for me. |

When a person writes a message like this should be taken into consideration by other users And there is. By the way, part of the funds from their ethwallets through went to the exchanges. I think if you really try it will be possible to find who is behind their scheme of deception. Much points to Eastern Europe, but it can be done to avert the eyes of the real country of origin of these scamers. In general, this project once again showed that everyone should check where they are entering a private code so as not to lose money. |

No matter what the ETCV team did, answered, responsed on telegam group, I don't care them all.
If the team don't appeared actively in the forum, it is very good indicator that they almost gone/ abandoned.
The forum is the essential place to show that crypto project has been lively developed and not a dead one.

Thank you for showing the link of their new announcement topic. They looks so stupid. Failed with scam efforts spent in the original topic, created a new one. I dont' think they can get successful scam like this. |

I think you should do it, to help naively newbies avoid get scammed by those bad guys. |

I think you should do it, to help naively newbies avoid get scammed by those bad guys. I already posted on their newly created ANN thread to warn newbie sand posted the link on this thread as a source of information and i think it should be enough for now |

Just because they need at least one user to cheat one or two eth in order to make a profit. |

Based on the figure provided by different members in their telegram group the ETCV Owner manage to pull of 4ETH from their presale buyers on their first scam. |

Yes but very often those are all newbie accounts and therefore relatively easy to detect that it could be a scam. And also as the poster before said, the giant bounty pool was just suspicious. |
