I think the pump is happening because of the upcoming Ethereum hard fork. We can expect a good pump even after completion of the hard fork! I don't think whales are the reason for this pump, it is like an ordinary.

that is what i am thinking too and also the news about ETF and Bakkt might be giving some impact on the current market, everyone are now buying ETH before the hard fork so they can have some free coin after the fork.

Yeah, I have read it on many discussion, many people do not believe that the rising is a sign for bullrun. They said it is the same like previous increase in the end of 2018. The rising will be just temporary and end with next decline.

This is beyond a pump and dump or a bounce. When there is a good development on a coin or an updates, it makes the coin to have more value and which invariable bring about a price increase. This is what every other coin that seem to have some potentials should do.

I think that it is quite possible. Now there is a lot of hype around the Ethereum and people's attention is switching to it, but still the cryptocurrency market now looks more stable and in this case it is just more like a bait.

I don't think so, this is a just a bounce, according to me it is a start of market pumping but slowly. I can definitely say that, market will go down also, but not much. It will improve slowly slowly, because they also need buyers which is part of crypto world. My only suggestion is for every investor is that, don't be go greedy, just do everything calmly.

It's the only ethereum and other still follow bitcoin. Block decrease has proven itself to create another jump or bump to the price of altcoin. I guess we will see the block reward for ethereum will get decrease until 0.6 ehereum for each block solved by miners.

After market cap drop below $100billion, and now market cap value at $130billions, i think market will start to recover again. Hard to see on short term but i am already plan to hold my coin for long term and i think its makes me more relax.

Its a good marketing strategy and every angle, you will see that there are someone or something who really manipulates the market. If you are smart enough you can ride this thread and benefit like them. Dont be that someone they manipulate, be the manipulator.

Marketcap will increase if more coins will be created, especially those with huge volume.
Looking at the global marekcap, it signifies that there is a big fall because the all time high was close to $800 billion, so in order to reach that marketcap again, we need another bull run or a steady growth this year, I know it's possible because our market is is so big and anyone can buy and invest on bitcoin.

New year is a great time for big things, for sure the biggest thing we are waiting for is lighting network, we can hope that lighting network will be what bitcoin needs now, I read many good stuff about it, will it be what we expect is yet to be seen, but that can take bitcoin to higher levels, some people on twitter talks very positive about it.
