This is what I like about the Magic and sometimes, betting on them against a top team is better. More risky, but more rewarding.

They beat the Celtics twice (only team to do it this season), they beat the Sixers once (on their own home), and just yesterday, they beat the Nuggets with Jokic and Porter Jr. The Magic is a very exciting team to watch out for especially those young players of the team. For us bettors, we might wanna think twice if we will bet for them or against them in their next games.

Well, sometimes sh*t happens... and I was convinced that the Nuggets would win easily, but that didn't happen...

Interesting your observation, I didn't know that the Magic managed to win these (hard) games...

I was fortunate enough to ride with the Lakers today, glad to see them winning again and just like what I've expected, the new additional of the Lakers will be having a good debut.

Jarred Vanderbilt and D'Angelo Russell registered a good contribution on the game today as well as Rui Hachimura for having double digits. But the main highlight was Dennis Schroder, although I didn't expect it because I thought that AD will be the one who will dominate most. Overall, it was a good game for the purple and gold.

The Mavericks are a good team on paper, but their defense is very awful. They gave away their good defender in DFS to get Kyrie which isn't that good at defense. Luka and Kyrie are great in offense, but awful in offense. How can you let your opponent score 74 points in the paint? I mean the Mavericks are at the bottom 10 already in defensive rating and they gave away a defender for more offense. I hope that the Mavericks can change their roster, and find a defense-first player that can cover their lack of defense.

No doubt about that. I'm also seeing some good improvement about their roster since the season started and given the fact that most of the players are young and inexperienced, they are quite good already and giving a hard time to the teams they are facing.

And while they face the Heats earlier, it's evident that they indeed lack the experience because when it comes to crucial and intense moments, they tend to make some mistakes and that makes them vulnerable, and which is why the Heat defeated them in the last minutes. But overall, they are already impressive for me, those mistakes they did will make them stronger next season.

Thomas is now back to his usual average, but the good thing about the Nets is they have plenty of scorers, this game it was Bridges who led the team with 23 points. I think they will be underdog in most of their games, so if they'll continue to cover the spread, then that should make the bettors profitable.

Not for me, I said it at the other thread, this Nets are stronger with a deep bench and filled with roleplayers that strengthen their fomer teams. Dinwiddie, Bridges, Johnson, and Finney-Smith. I would love to bet on the Brooklyn Nets, especially now. But what you said about the part about closing games might be right. They are energetic, and they can rain threes which they did today, but in the last part of 4th quarter they cannot stop Joel Embiid, I guess they were all exhausted by all that running and gunning plays. The Nets should try to clean that up because they won't win their games without a good close. They actually had a good lead against the 76ers but they got careless and Embiid massacred them in the paint.

Boston Celtics - Memphis Grizzlies - Boston Celtics (-4.5) No updates yet about Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart will not play, and Malcolm Brogdon is probable. The Grizzlies are clean, Steven Adams is the only one listed for about two weeks already. The Celtics got stronger because of Mike Muskala and on his debut he made an impressive 12 points, 4/8 at distance shots in just 16 minutes of playtime versus the Hornets. Will be looking forward to seeing him play more minutes in this game against the Grizzlies while they are undermanned.

Toronto Raptors - Detroit Pistons - Toronto Raptors (-10.5) OG Anunoby is out for the Raptors. While the Pistons won't have Nerlens Noel due to personal reasons. I want to see James Wiseman if he can play on his debut as a Piston.
The Raptors are 16-13 in their home games, Pistons are 7-21 on the road.

Thomas is now back to his usual average, but the good thing about the Nets is they have plenty of scorers, this game it was Bridges who led the team with 23 points. I think they will be underdog in most of their games, so if they'll continue to cover the spread, then that should make the bettors profitable.

I guess they still won't be making any difference even if the Nets managed to force the game into OT as it's the Sixers who got more experience and exposure, and that means that the Sixers will prevail once the game has gone through OT. Just like the Heat vs Magic game, and just like the Nets, they led the game as it seems that they already got things in total control but a much-experienced team will chase them down and break their spirits. Anyway, it was a good game.
