The Brooklyn Nets finally defeats the Celtics in the NBA after 10 consecutive loss in this fixture, without KD, Kyrie, James Harden or even Ben Simmons, from being down by 28 points in the game, It's freaking surreal!

I confess that I was surprised by this defeat by Boston.
The Celtics were performing very well, but even so, the Nets managed to reduce that point difference and win the match.

A game that I was extremely bad, was Lakers x Timberwolves, with a possible return of AD and another KAT game would be absent, I imagined that the chance of the Lakers win was greater, well... this was another game that I was terrible in my bets lol

Actually, I was thinking that the Lakers could've won that game if only Dennis Schroder somehow gave what he performed last time when they were facing the Thunders but unfortunately, Schroder only focused on giving some assists to his team and only managed to contribute 6 points which is quite different from his performance in their past game. Still inconsistent, they know that LeBron might not come back in the regular season, so they should step up their game more to help AD from lifting the whole team towards a W.

On their next game, it will be played at Crypto Arena where the Lakers somehow got a little home advantage, but they should thrive hard this time as they will be facing the Warriors with Steph Curry's return.

In the victory against OKC, most of the Lakers players scored, and they won the match without LJ and AD.

I have no doubt that in the game against the Timberwolves, AD would be the team's reference player, and indeed he was, AD scored 38 points, KAT was not playing, but Gobert played, in my view, AD played extremely well against the Timberwolves and mainly against Gobert.

I believe what happened in this last Lakers game was that the other players didn't perform relevantly to help the team to beat the Timberwolves.

Same here and in-fact, I did a wager in favor of the Los Angeles Lakers because what they did in their previous game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves was outstanding, especially Schroder but earlier, he was back again in his inconsistent phase. That is why I said to myself that they might make it this time because AD will be with them but that's not what happened as most of them failed to help their big man.

Just by the hair mate, but I knew my bet is lost already though when Miami took that lead in the dying seconds. It's just a miracle that Randle hit that very though fade away against the defense of Butler, it was really a dagger.

And then they were not able to get a clean shot as they know what play they are going to run since this is the same play they did before when they are also down against them. That time Hero runs on several picks and got a clean shot, however he missed it. So they guarded him and they steal the ball. Lakers are toast.  With LeBron out they won't be able to sustain any kind of winning streak.  They are essentially a non factor whenever it comes to playoff scenerios.Lebron needs to split he doesn't have much time left and this Lakers team just isn't it.

Plus, the defense on Giannis Antetokounmpo by Joel Embiid especially in the last minute of the game was amazing. He didn't back down, absorbed every bump of the Greek Freak, and stayed on his feet. - I thought that the Wizards will win back-to-back against the Raptors in their home, but the Raptors got their revenge and won on the road and in overtime. Gary Trent Jr. lead the way with 26 points off the bench followed by Vanvleet with 25 points. Kuzma who has 30+ points in their last game now only has 16 points.

Miami Heat - Atlanta Hawks - Miami Heat @ 1.74 - WIN
- I think with all of the bets I put today, this is the only win that I have. Jimmy Butler only has 15 points but has 11 rebounds and has only taken 8 shots. Adebayo and Herro are the ones who lead the team with 30 and 20 points respectively. 5 players are in double digits and for the Hawks, Trae Young has only 8 points with 2/13 shooting.

San Antonio Spurs - Houston Rockets - San Antonio Spurs @ 1.97 - LOST
- I really don't want to put bet here because they are lower seeded teams, but just for fun I put. Anyway, I lost with this one. 8 players on the Rockets are in double-digits and it just shows that their offense is distributed therefore, it's hard to stop something like that. Good game for the Houston Rockets on the road.

- The Sixers trailed as many as 18 points, but manage to make a huge run on the 4th quarter, and snapped the 16-game winning streak of the Bucks. Harden played like the prime Harden that we used to see on the Rockets. He is 1 rebound away from having a triple-double having 38 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Him, Maxey and Embiid scored 95 of the total 130 points of the team. Embiid's three point in the final seconds of the game is very crucial and because of that, they got the lead and eventually the win.

That's 2 AM our time. I don't think I will be able to watch this so I am also putting my early bets. About the spreads, I think it's because Ayton is questionable to play plus Dallas Mavericks won big time against a strong 76ers last time which means their star duo is starting to create a bit of chemistry.
Then, it's their home.

Chicago Bulls - Indiana Pacers - Chicago Bulls (-6.5) Chicago Bulls are on a rough road, they are not consistent with their wins. They badly need this one and Haliburton of the Pacers is questionable to play.
Los Angeles Lakers - Golden State Warriors - Golden State Warriors (-4.5) Warriors on a good 5th winning streak. I guess they should continue this streak and take a safe spot for the playoffs. Mavs and Twolves are still on their tail.

I have been betting on over / under for quite a while and the worst in Basketball is when you pick "under" and in the very last second the game ties and goes into overtime and your bet is in shambles because overtime counts towards the total. In basketball it is even worse than in any other sport because the probability for a game to tie is lower. In soccer you would expect a draw in the last minute or a goal that could happen. But overtime destroying your bet is annoying.

I have had it a couple of times when there was less then a second left on the clock and my bet was fine and then some lucky shot a la Steph Curry hit the basket and I lost. When you watch that game it feels like somebody punched you in the stomach!

But if we are honest to ourselves that is also the fun about it. I mean losing is never fun, but when it gets close and you win it, it is even more enjoyable.

Exactly the reason why I don't usually wager on over/under because that specific option gives me an headache as it is real hard to predict if the total outcome will be over or under.

In soccer, it is somehow easier especially if the teams are not that good but in basketball, it is different because even a weak team can still produce a high scoring game and sometimes even a strong team can also produce a low scoring game.

That is why I mostly do spreads and moneyline because those ones are less stress for me.
