Funny to say, but I see lots of shared old school all-star games where we can see real competition, as players took pride and aim not
just to entertain the fans but to prove that they can play better than their opponent.
Looking to see that NBA will find new ways to offer to attract more viewers.

I witnessed the past All-Star games and I can really tell the big difference. The old format was much more entertaining compared to the new style. While we can't blame the fact that players now are good at making three-point shots, it's probably the organizers' fault for not ensuring a more competitive All-Star game. Hopefully, things will change next year now that they have heard people's complaints.

I bet on Team Lebron yesterday around 3-4 pm not even realizing the rosters hadn't even been picked yet lol.  I dont know why my betting app even let me..kinda some bs..but I guess that's on me for being dumb.  I thought it was just the typical East vs West all star type format and I knew who was playing from both conferences.  Once the teams were picked I was happy that I had picked team Lebron, they in theory are the MUCH better team.  But hey, it doesn't always work out in favor lol

Injury issues.
Then, Dame and Tatum both shot like the three point range is too close for them. Dame especially who made a halfcourt shot like it was nothing for him. 
Well, Team Lebron are actually the favorites before the game started, if only he had not injured his hand/finger then it could've changed the way they play ball. He plays competitively when that final quarters comes and I guess that's why Team Giannis are the underdogs.
Let's hope they can come with some new type of playing ball because this one is not working anymore even if they insert that it's for a charity.

Lebron wanted that MVP badly, you could tell by the way he came out guns a blazing from the very get go. Also that throw off the backboard dunk he made, holy shit that guy can still move for a 38 year old.  Being around the same age as him, makes me feel pretty bad about myself lol.

But yeah, that game was TERRIBLE and it's pretty universally thought as such.  They need to get rid of that scoring per quarter thing.  It makes no sense in my opinion.

Seriously, I don't even know what pushed them to change the format of the All-Star and what keeps them from changing it again considering that the fans are not that hyped to see the game anymore because it was more of a circus rather than a serious type of game where the top tiers of each team are facing each other while proving that they are still top of one another.
I believe they are hearing a lot of complains already, not just this year's all-star game but in the previous ones as well but still, we kept on seeing the same format year by year.

And I thought that I'm just the one who doesn't like what the All Star has turned out to be with new format in the last couple of years, we see some old school posters here who has the same mentality as mine hehehehe.

To be honest, maybe since they change format, I haven't want the All star weekend, although this year it was the Dunk contest that might bring some fans to watch again. But the whole Team Giannis vs Team Lebron? and how they score it per quarter and such? doesn't sit well for him and for the majority of old basketball fans. They should bring back the East vs West that's how we grew watching the All star.

Congratulations on your bet @morvillz7z. The only bet I won was with Team Giannis and over total score, thankfully. 
@Natalim Naturally, there should be a reaction for the NBA about those ratings. Perhaps its time to change the system and make it more competitive. I have known a lot of friends who are looking forward about the All Star before but now I cannot even see a little expectation from them.
There should be something else that can boost the ratings again. Charities seems to not work too although it is for a cause.

After that All-Star game, I hope that Commissioner Adam Silver will change something with regards to it.

I mean I also watched some old school All-star games on Facebook (since there are some who re-uploaded it), and I just love how All-Star players are competing at that time. What I watched was an All-star game where Kobe (RIP) was there, and we know how competitive Kobe is right? If he's still alive right now and got a chance to watch that All-star game, expect some negative comments coming from him. No defense whatsoever. They are just letting their opponents shoot instead of defending them. They only defended in the final quarter,  but you can't tell it as a defense as well.

That All-star game is one of the worse I've ever watched, and I believe some will agree with me especially those who watched the old All-star games. Hope there will be a chance in the next All-star game in Indianapolis.

I haven't seen Dallas win a game yet with Kyrie and Luka playing together, so I might as well still bet against them. I'm taking the other side and placing a bigger bet compared to my bet on the moneyline.

Portland vs Sacramento -5

I'll go with the underdogs, as both Portland and the Warriors are decent teams. Just because they will be playing on the road, it doesn't mean they'll lose. These teams know how to win, so I think they are undervalued in this matchup.

Irving's agent signed him up with Dallas just to get him out of all issues he had within the Brooklyn organization and among the fans.
Every sports show post trade, all broadcasters were questioning what if any reasonable explanation could be seen with this trade.
But to many including myself are interested in the betting opportunity this presents itself if this experiment fails.
I will be making a ML bet on the Spurs because I think the bookies expect way too much of a Kyrie and Luka cohesion so late into the season.

Yes, no doubt about that. The late legendary, Kobe Bryant, will literally roast the NBA league and Commissioner Adam Silver for making a circus-like All-Star game. The man has been known to be real and will always say something as long as it will benefit the league, and not just because he loved to roast.

In the recent stats, it showed that the NBA All-Star game views has declined and if not, it's the lowest declination since the All-Star way back 2002. For sure that headline will bump the NBA commissioner's head and will make some adjustments so that it won't happen again as NBA is always business first. For that, there's a suggestion from the fans that it will be much more interesting to see an All-Star game where it will be Team World vs Team USA.

Cleveland Cavaliers VS Denver Nuggets

The Stake odds for this game are 1.75 for the Cavaliers and 2.13 for the Nuggets, Right now Ricky Rubio can not play for the Cavaliers, while Aaron Gordon, Collin Gillespie, and Zeke Nnaji can not play and Jamal Murray is questionable if they can play for the Nuggets, Despite many injures than the Cavaliers, I still think that the Denver Nuggets can win this, that is why my pick is the Denver Nuggets,

Toronto Raptors VS New Orleans Pelicans

The Stake odds for this game are 1.45 for the Raptors and 2.85 for the Pelicans, Right now Thaddeus Young and OG Anunoby are both questionable if they can play for the Raptors, while E.J. Liddell, and Zion Williamson, can not play, and Dyson Daniels and Larry Nance Jr. are doubtful if they can play for the Pelicans because Williamson still can not play I guess there is a chance for the Raptors to win, and the  Raptors are no push over the team, because of Fred VanVleet so my pick is the Toronto Raptors,
 
Philadelphia 76ers VS Memphis Grizzlies

The Stake odds for this game are 1.64 for the 76ers and 2.32 for the Grizzlies, right now Dewayne Dedmon is doubtful if he can play for the 76ers, while Steven Adams and Luke Kennard a not playing for the Grizzlies, so for me because of the solid run the 76ers are having against the Grizzlies, I will be going with the Philadelphia 76ers,

Los Angeles Lakers VS Golden State Warriors

The Stake odds for this game are 1.46 for the Lakers and 2.85 for the Warriors, Right now LeBron James and Anthony Davis are doubtful if they can play while Andre Iguodala, Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Gary Payton II, can not play for this game, I know this is a very hard decision and we all know the evolution of the Lakers acquiring those players, while the Warriors are depleting their pain, but for me, I will still go with the Warriors I think they can still manage to pull this off,

Even though I might not be backing the San Antonio Spurs on ML, I also believe Kyrie and Doncic playing together is absurd reason to undermine the Spurs that much, they've also lost a number of key players before the trade deadline themselves, but currently -14.5 for the Spurs outright is just purely absurd imo too, so that's a bet I'm definitely not going to say no to as well.

It's 0/2 for you tonight, sorry mate, some days are just like that, Orlando Magic really didn't take complete charge of the game, even though they did at some point led by as many as 13 point during the 3rd quarter, that was literally the only time they had at least 7 or more points lead, it's pretty much a close game from the very start to finsih.

Jamal Murray actually suited up for the Denver Nuggets and we could say he's one of the reasons you lost the second bet, because he was very instrumental for Nuggets getting the win tonight, although Donovan Mitchel also wasn't at his usual best for the Cavaliers too, he played way worse and nothing compared to the Donovan Mitchel we saw at the All Star Games night.
