Thanks for taking the time to create this list. I've dumped 150 sMerit, which is more than my usual, but my Merit source had 360 sMerit to go. Real life caught up with me in the past week, so I've been slacking.

I don't have many smerit, but yes I have helped him with some of the existing smerit. As I can see, he is a quality poster that deserves a Legendary rank. Now that he was so close to his rank, it was just one another big transaction from the merit source.

I may not always post "quality merit-able content". But I would like to adjust my focus. I have been trying the last few weeks more than usual.
I haven't participated in signature campaigns unless I believed in the project, and honestly, it's been a while since I've seen anything aside from Casinos or Mixers with that being said in the past I haven't had much incentive to post quality content, however I'm starting to see things a little differently, especially as bitcoin becomes harder to come by these days.
I'm not in any circle of friends so to speak, and I haven't posted lots of content people would deem worthy of merit.
As I surpassed 1000 post I've been thinking more about this, are things I say now less weighed in due to lack of historical content value?
Does being helpful prevail over being a casual faithful community member? This is my version of facebook & I like being around likeminded people.

Sorry about the rant Ill try to do better in reporting post that seem worthy of merit.

@WhyFhy: You're not a spammer, and seem to use the forum the way it was intended. The Merit system was introduced to stop spammers and account farmers from ranking up, and I don't think it you deserve to be held back by it.
I've seen your posts many times, and yet, somehow, your Merit couldn't keep up with your Activity. I've dumped 50 Merit on your posts just now, and I suggest to post a few links to your best posts here so others may be able to do the same (I've reached the maximum for 30 days).

I think that I am inclined to send you some smerits merely based on Loyce's response to your earlier post and his seeming recommendation, but also Loyce was trying to give you some kind of advice (or hint) about how to make it easier for him and possibly for other forum members to go through some of the better of your already existing posts that might not have received merit or maybe only received a few merits (not just your thread starters) - in order that the members do not have to sort through all of your already existing more than a 1,000 posts and spend a lot of time in terms of figuring out what might be the better ones or the more meritable ones.

I already see that you do have some pretty decently good ways of presenting your ideas, so it is not like any red flags are going up for me, either.. at least not so far.. . whatever that matters.

The link to the one post is a start in the right direction, and may well get you some smerits, but I would venture to guess that if you provided a list of 10 or 20 posts with links, you will end up receiving a fair amount of smerits sent your way for such efforts.  I would recommend give us 20 rather than 1.. since Loyce already asked for it.

In the end it is up to you, but if you have already gone through the trouble of your earlier post, I see no reason not to follow up with a list of 10 or 20 posts that could give some of us some options and choices regarding which kinds of your already existing posts to merit (without our having to wade through your post history)... Another thing is going to be that just off the top of your head, and your having had gone through making your posts, you are going to be way more familiar with your forum involvement and which threads you had made better or worser posts.. so give us the better ones .. not just the ones that involve you starting a thread (and I am not even saying that your speculations on Hal being Satoshi is not a bad one.. even though probably members get less excited about those kinds of speculations in comparison/contrast to just being involved in various kinds of ongoing bitcoin happenings or any other topics that might be of interest to you... and my own personal take is fuck shitcoins and fuck shitcoiners, if you happened to be interested in my possible biases along the way.. hahahahahaha).

I think that there are a quite a few members in this forum who are way more inclined to send smerits to bitcoin related posts rather than various posts involving shitcoins - so there is that angle, and also if you remain concerned about improving the likelihood that you will receive merits in the future, I would suggest figuring out some topics that are of interest to you and just actively stay involved in those threads and continue to post a few times a day (or maybe 10-20 times a week), and if you stay active and you stay involved in a few threads, then likely you will attract smerits through those kinds of activities, as well.

Thank you for the advice, I'm learning the ropes on proper merit etiquette, I dont know how to go about determining what post of mine are good quality, If they weren't merited in the first place the way I see it they weren't of quality to begin with , I'm not really with the alt stuff myself but alts do get me to my precious bitcoin so I don't ever throw them out nor am I closed minded on shitcoins potential. With that being said I know your stance on bitcoin as I frequently lurk The Wall Observer

Both of us should appreciate that this is a self-moderated thread - so surely Loyce may decide to delete our posts because some of what we are saying seems to be somewhat getting away from intentions of this thread - and surely, if you read the OP we have folks who report meritorious posts of others and meritorious post of themselves, and I am only going to attempt to twist your arm so much.. both Loyce and I have suggested that you make it easier for us (and for potentially others who peruse this thread) to be able to send some smerits in your way.. so both of us have already concluded that you are not really fitting in a kind of begging category or in some other way causing a negative response - except maybe here you are fighting the whole thing.. which just seems strange to me, and I will go through the work and look at a few of your posts, even though I was hoping that you would save me from having to do that kind of work.,. when I have already hinted that I am inclined to throw some smerits in your direction based on what I had already seen... so I am not going to let your battling against the idea deter me.. even if it might surely deter others who don't necessarily want to go through your post but also might have also come to a similar conclusion as I have (and likely Loyce too.. since he already sent you 50 smerits).

Regarding prior posts not receiving smerits, many of us know and appreciate that those kinds of dynamics happen quite frequently in this forum.. a decent amount of acceptable and even merit worthy posts are overlooked and/or even just members feel that they really do not have any kind of sense of the person posting the posts - so some of the smerit receiving matter has a kind of snowballing effects including that some members who are somewhat smerit whores (if that is an acceptable way of framing it) end up getting a kind of momentum that they continue to receive smerits, even though they might have started out as a kind of smerit whore, but once they get momentum, it may well not even matter anymore that how they might have started out (even if it could be proven or not).  Maybe there is some resemblance to some of the very wealthy folks in society?  after they receive outrageous levels of wealth, they might get all kinds of respect, even though their earlier stages of gaining wealth was not exactly ethical (and in some cases it was illegal or criminal).. and I am  not even saying that all members with lot of merits did not deserve them, I am just trying to describe that some smerits start to flow in your direction from momentum rather than any kind of actual improvement in the objective substantive quality - and furthermore there remains a decent amount of subjectivity in smerit sending anyhow.

I'm not really with the alt stuff myself but alts do get me to my precious bitcoin so I don't ever throw them out nor am I closed minded on shitcoins potential. With that being said I know your stance on bitcoin as I frequently lurk The Wall Observer

I think that there are a decent number of merit source members who are disincline to send merits to shitcoiners.. .. but surely there are a variety of personalities and even preferences within merit source members too.

That seems to be largely your own self-consciousness coming out with that.. and surely no one really likes a merit beggar, but if you had been characterized as a possible merit beggar Loyce would have likely either not sent you any smerits (rather than 50), he might have still sent you 1 or 2 smerits (perhaps?), and possibly he would not have given the little "hint" about giving us some more posts.. including hinting that he might even send you more smerits after his 30-day limit gets refreshed (in the direction that members are ONLY able to send up to 50 smerits to any other member in any 30-day period, and once the 30 day period runs, another 50 merits could be sent in the next 30-day period... not that he would necessarily max it out again.. on you, and I largely send 1-3 merits to other members per post (once in a while 4-5 smerits.. pretty rare) and I rarely reach a 50 smerit max with any member, either.....)... of course, no guarantees of any of that, for sure.

This is not new but bring to new people about how signal groups are working. Signal groups make people to believe in a coin through signal group social media group, the coin is pumped by the whales behind the group for new people to buy, then dump the coin for the new people that just joined to lose. Example is just the Telegram group which is said someone can join for free, not knowing that something free can also be worse and cause loss if followed.
