Thanks for trying to explain why I asked LoyceV to review some of my posts in this particular thread, I can say that most of your reasons are what I'm currently thinking. Of course, I have tried to actively contribute to the local board for as long as I can, either by quality posts or by distributing some of the merit.

So I hope you understand @Poker Player. Obviously the merits that I have must flow to anyone who deserves, this is a wish that I consider one of my contributions so far.

I have been in the forum for atleast a couple of months and I think I've seen alot of mind-blowing threads that deserves this accolades_merit (since it was created as a way to say ''thank you"" either for a new discovery or a "point well proven") but in turns, it seems the whole system is kinda stock. I don't wanna say much but just keep doing your good work as The Sceptical chymist does his too, who knows?!

This isn't really bout me, how? I make quality Post, yeah but I see alot out there too just like myself tbh. I was trying to say if I could possibly take it upon myself to maybe show 'em off here? So is you requiring any rank to specialize on that notion?

If you have seen threads like that as you say, you either give them merits if you do have and then report it here for merit sources to take a look at them for review. The system isn't stuck because you saw a few threads that didn't get merited, you may think those threads deserved to be merited based on your own standards of what you call meritable or quality topics, but it may not be the same thing for merit sources and other members; there are many more merit sources that are doing great at distributing merits like the two you mentioned, but maybe you don't visit the same boards as them.

Why? You don't have to be afraid if you don't do anything wrong. You can report a good post if you feel it deserves to be reported in a merit source. Even if you want, you can also report other users' posts in this thread that you think are of good quality but lack merit. At least we know that you have good criteria for judging quality posts, which can also be a positive thing for you to do.
