What is going on with bitcoin ? there are many fluctuations in short span of time within a limit of $500? but bitcoin is unable to reach a new landmark and trailing around $4000. what's the reason for these temporary price fluctuations?

The reason for such fluctuations is strong volatility and for the first time in 19 years, the stock exchange experienced the strongest collapse in history. This never happened that investors would lose such huge amounts of money in just one night. I myself lost a lot of money on January 3, when the yen fell.

No one can control the bitcoin price except to those who are holding big amount of bitcoin, because they can sell it in low price, so they manipulate the price, but in the reality we dont need to get worried on what happened in the bitcoin price because it`s will be okay again in the near future, so` its better to be patient and wait the right time so sell your bitcoin.

fluctuations are a natural thing, last month BTTC touched $ 2800 and is now recovering around $ 4000 and everything is reasonable in my opinion. FUD or whale news that changes the trend is normal, we must be wise in making decisions

No one can know exactly answer. You see what in the market, that's the answer. Almost investors those who made benefit at 19k, they stayed out of market and waiting, so market need the time to accumulate.

It is Bitcoin just being Bitcoin and perhaps the rest of the cryptocurrencies as well. This is just a normal price movement on a daily basis even during the 2017 Bull Run the price rally we have seen is what we can call as abnormal movement compared to other market's standards. So there is really nothing special on Bitcoin's price movement at present as it is just what we see everyday. You will be comfortable with it as volatility will always be in the cryptocurrency market.

The price of the bitcoin is normal because it has characteristics of being volatile. As a trader, it is normal to see the changing of the price of the bitcoin all the times due to the supply and demand in the market.

I think people are shifting exchanges to ETH because it is going to happen the Hard Fork event. The traders are trying to take advantage of this event to push ETH up and start liquidating it after they receive their reward in this event. I guess that after receiving the reward, traders will sell all of the ETH they hold at a higher price than what they have spent.

But ETH is also bringing the price of bitcoin up because of their fork. Definitely, speculators or traders are always taking advantage to squeeze more profit specially we are still in the bearish zone. As for the volatility, it's part of it's ecosystem and as much as we hate it, volatility sometime works on our side, that is if we know how to trade and take advantage of them.

well well well, i must say that bitcoin is working its way to the top, base on my little analysis am certain that bitcoin will moon before the middle of the the year.

Not surprised at all as this happened already when Bitcoin is at 6000. No news heard also. I think this is common already with Bitcoin that the movement of it becomes stable. A small rise followed by a pullback. Price fluctuation of Bitcoin is normal already.

See how much people were able to save with all shoes in the past, this total collapse will no longer look so sad. And there was not even hope that it could grow again, there immediately finish, and here 99.999% will be the return of any of the previous levels, no matter how many went.

bitcoin is making waves everywhere it is found and where ever it is heard of. the masses are growing in their population adopting the technology and expressing gratitude over the discovery of the technology as they see the use cases on daily basis. bitcoin is the real deal and soonest the bull run will prove that.

My take on this is that people are rather still conscious of buying bitcoin perhaps because of the manipulations they witnessed last year, while some others are already taking little profits off their stocks of bitcoins, which is the cause of those heavy fluctuations. I guess we might need a little to more time before things can get really stable once again.

Don't get fooled by looking at the temporary price variation in bitcoin because it is becoming successful day by day and anyone think otherwise what I can say is nothing to worry and bitcoin prices went down due to the uncertainty that people has regarding it and this is mainly because many news and media companies who only show negative things regarding bitcoin and that is the main reason why majority of investors and traders don't believe in there investments these days but I hope this situation will change in the future with with more bitcoin into business adaptation and increase of usability which might take some time but possible to happen that is why we can agree that this is just the beginning for bitcoin and its future progress

The current time Bitcoin has reached a price of $ 4,000, I think that a lot of expectation too much time of Bitcoin depreciation and almost 2018 is a period of rapid fall of Bitcoin. Expectations are too much and cannot explain Bitcoin why is it increasing? Bitcoin will become better in a new time and increase milestones.

The only problem is manipulation. The new bakkt game is resisting the price to a stable position. By the way, people don't like volatility, also don't like stability. Which one do they like in fact? BTC price will not change a huge before 2020.

I believe it will not go up-to such a low as BTC value is slowly recovering yes 4k mark is really good sign before Bakkt launch If this goes well and good I am sure BTC will pump. Yes it is under seesaw effect now however I am more confident the result will be good at the end.

in my opinion it is not only bitcoin that has decreased even all crypto currency coins have also decreased very drastically we can only hope that bitcoin and crypto currencies will increase in the future
