I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018

Maybe for some gamblers, 10 BTC is small only but for me that is living in a third world country that amount is very huge already.

Anyway, I feel sorry for your lost but there is a problem with you. You know that you are losing a lot of money and yet you chose to gamble all of your bitcoins. Gamblers must know how to control themselves especially when they are losing money consecutive times.

You should never feel sorry, even i realize he has no sad feeling of his biggest loss of 10 bitcoins in this thread. So why we feel sad on his loss. Also if he was a good gamblers then he must careful about his money, But he was not. However, it is his loss, and may be he has a lot of bitcoins, that's why he has no sorry of his big loss.

He was just being sympathetic for others and there is no wrong about that,that’s how we care for someone specially if we loss 10 bitcoin in which a huge amount for us to gamble

That's too much to take if I were in your shoes. I would never bet that kind of amount in a year, that is way too depressing for me if all that money have gone in gambling. Where did you get all those money to play with? You have a fortune and yet throw it away, that is so frustrating. Even me winning small amounts of BTC I immediately run and stop for the meantime and play again another day.

Yes it is big money and only those who have a lot of money or those who are able to keep thinking positively and wisely to remain calm and comfortable with their conditions, whereas on the other hand they have lost a lot of money in gambling. But this is also a learning for all of us not to be frustrated or maybe something else bad because of the suffering that is due to losing money in gambling.

I would like to specifically quote this sentence in your paragraph about not giving up. It is actually advisable to give-up in gambling especially when you are on a losing streak. Applying that kind of attitude which you just wrote, this would only cascade to financial problems and conflict. This would also give an opportunity to be addicted to the certain game if he has that mindset.

Like what you just experienced, gambling CAN be profitable if you know your limits and have self-discipline. The more you gamble your resources, the more chance that your money would be down the drain.

Im thinking is the smart hedge to gambling large amounts of BTC to also set a small leverage BTC position in times like Decemeber 2018 when the price is beat up and everyone is gloomy.   Then you are risking BTC which may end up worth half as much, not a big deal but also this hedge allows you to possibly recover in future June 2019 from the lost BTC of six months previous.

Its not saving, its a side bet and a kind of counter to this kind of question of oh no I lost **** large amount of BTC.    If it kept going down in worth nobody would moan as much, we all got regrets when it goes up alot and we paid, spent or lost BTC previous as lower values.

Depending on that kind of person because not all losing up money do learn afterwards because most of them will just end up more severely because
they do tend to chase up their losses instead on having a complete stop unless if they do let themselves to be broke completely.

Imagining that 10BTC lost at the current rate isn't really that a small money.

Currently the bitcoin is around 12,000$ and having 10 btc is a big amount for anyone, not just the ones living in underdeveloped world. In 2018 the average price of bitcoin was about 6000$, so if the OP has not lost this amount in gambling in 2018, its value may have been doubled by this time in terms of dollars.

i think he can afford to loose the 10 btc because he did bet it at the first place but for us small time gamblers we cant even bet 1btc , how much more if its 10 btc ? thats already enough for the rest of us to live forever without depending on our daytime jobs  . another thing , if he lost 10 btc on 2018 that wouldnt hurt that much as long as he can afford to loose it because the value of btc last year were only cheap compare to this year were the value of btc have already doubled  .

Yeah I am thinking abouy this also since even 1 BTC isnhuge already knowing that BTC market pricr now has already reached 12K usd. Well, I think if OP losses huge amount od money then OP could also win large amount of money.

Sad to hear this story. But it is better to set a new chapter of your investment in bitcoin for a better ways on earning rather than taking risk and gambling your money. It is okay to gamble when you have the capability to take risk with  caution and you are able to stop on lossing when you are ready to stop or take another way to earn when you are lossing. Addiction on gambling may lead to unforced lose of money.

Exactly, 10 bitcoins in today price, it is a huge amount of money, if he did play gambling in a sensible way then may be he has less loss, and may he could safe his bitcoin, But the time has passed and now he has lost of 10 bitcoins. If i have lost of 10 bitcoins then definitely i do quit gambling forever.

Losing big amount in gambling is really life distruction the way it will stress you everyday until you get move on, on it. Losing 10 bitcoin is almost losing a good life for our family,this is a large amount that if we only use in right investments may bring us great fortune and will feed our family until our next generation .

For me this amount is so huge I would kill myself if I just lose it in gambling. Im serious bro, I mean I am not rich, my family is not rich and I am so happy that I am earning money through out the time I am here, another thing is my job but that is a different story since I can save my cryptos here so I can get more profits in the future. If we lose it, 10 btc in this case, in one day or in a relatively short period of time, it will be very painful. But if it is the amount of our loss in a year, it shouldn't be too stressful. I myself have never counted the money that I have lost because it can bring back the bad memories into my mind. Btw, we shouldn't use the money that is beyond our limits, the money that if we lose it will affect our financial in daily needs.

Losing TEN bitcoin is bad for everyone even it's on short or long duration. I think you are rich man or addicted on gambling. Otherwise how someone lost TEN bitcoin. For someone who struggles to buy 1 BTC , this loss is serious money.
However, there are also people who buy Bitcoin in large quantities and 10 BTC is not a big mistake. In both cases, a loss is a loss and this should be a lesson for everyone as you said, for not repeating again false actions.
