We cannot confirm that OP has really loss that big amount of money in gambling but this is common in crypto, maybe not happening to him but others surely have that experience or even bigger than this. Actually we cannot say that it's a big amount it's depending on the players capability, for me, I think that is big enough but for others it's just a small amount and they can afford to lose that money.

Actually it is a big amount as 10 Bitcoins right now are 37.000 dollars and that cannot be considered a low amount. I know that when you compare this amount with amount which whales play which can be ten times higher this amount looks like small but it is not. In poor countries you can buy a big house with 37.000 dollars which is a better way to spend this money compared to gambling.

In gambling you can either lose or win no matter how much amount you are betting so don't get much amount which is not affordable for you.I saw many stories related to the gambling losses with huge amount in my friend circle so keep your mind clean while betting and aware of how much money you are using for gambling.

I made a loss in 2018, how much exactly, I have no idea.
I reckon it's probably somewhere in the 0.30 BTC region, so not that much actually.

Though, I'm planning on taking another break from gambling the next couple of months after having lost a few too many times in the recent past Tongue

I lose my money to gambling and many people too. I suggested to the people who are playing gambling must better if they are going to use their extra money so incase they will be lose it in playing gambling you can still have money too and if you are lucky you can win and you can have many cash for sure. Im so sad that you lost 10 bitcoin in your money but it's your decision to play .

I think ive made profits when it comes to gambling in 2018 but not a massive one. Probably about 0.1 BTC for the entire year. It's been very turbulent last year though. I made some good runs on tennis championships, only to come back and lose on NBA(while I bet heavy on favorites and they end up losing). Win or Loss, its important to learn some lesson out of it though and pick your battles a little more carefully this year. Know your strengths and weaknesses and try to avoid the weakness sections on your sportsbook. Only gamble when you feel confident and happy. Ive made a lot of bets while I was a little down and sleepy which turned into proper gambles and mostly losses. Remember, Knowledge is power.

PS: at the end of writing this I just realized that by gambling, you might mean something other than Sportsbetting. In those cases, firstly, make sure that your casino is genuine. If you need any help, you can always ping me. ready to help. Smiley

10 bitcoin is only about $40k which is a lot to most people but to big gamblers it is nothing.  The big casinos in Vegas are comping players that lose millions in a single session.  These guys don't even flinch from losing a couple million.  I guess its all a matter of perspective,  $100 seems like a fortune to a young child but to a normal adult it won't buy much.

You are right but every individual has different mindset, if you are practical enough you will spend that money on your needs than risk it hoping you will win. Regret always happens in the end, but gamblers who are risk takers can also be rewarded big time but unfortunately, the rate of success is very low.

That's a big amount of lose in my opinion, but for active gambling players maybe it's not too big. I myself never counted the losses that I experienced, because I sometimes became stressed when calculating the amount of losses you know Cheesy, but last year I got a lot of luck, so my losses may not be too big Smiley

i know 99% people lost their money in gambling
You're very near to the right answer, it's 100% actually Grin. There is no gambler who doesn't face losses (how big or small it is) even once in his lifetime. Imagine, passive source of income such as businesses still encounter losses (such as expensive raw materials and manpower) then what more for gamblers who are just pushing their luck.
Gambling is only for fun not a way to make money what you think Gamblers Wink Always Gamble what you afford to Lose Don't Give up LOL
Gambling is definitely a way of having fun and earning at the same time, it just depends on your perspective. Since you lost a lot of money in your gambling experience then it's not surprising to know that you will never treat it as a way of earning and only look at it as for recreational purposes. But if we look on point of view of the hustlers of gambling then perhaps they not simply look on it as fun games but a decent source of income.

You learned this after spending 10 BTC ? I believe this is not too late. Because, some people would never find opportunities to learn this lesson even after spending 100 BTC (given that they are able to spend that much). you learned your lesson at least now in my view so that you can save your future losses and you can recover your losses in some other businesses. Please never ever try to recover your losses in gambling.
Yes, OP is sounding like he had learned the lesson and probably may not go for gambling again for the reason of chasing out his losses. Moreover, OP is is not sounding like a real gambler because that is how he had composed the open post. As far as I have seen most gamblers are not quick learner, they need more time and external help too for making them to realize their mistakes and what they are literally missing out while gambling. Only after long hours of intensive lectures, some gamblers start understanding the hard lessons from their own experiences.

10 BTC must be a very big money in 2018 compared to 2019. But, I wonder how these gamblers are affording to risk that much big money for gambling. At the same time we cannot ignore the fact that how gambling making them to be focused to keep on gambling regardless of how much they are spending and losing in gambling.

Probably no gambler will realize the market value of their bitcoins but they just need some bankroll to continue. This is where, altcoin based gambling must be a good choice to have.

Well, bitcoin gamblers should be ready for the big risks. Gambling is not a safe game and those who gamble are already aware of it. Since big risk is equal to big reward, you could have won 10 BTC instead if your luck was good, but unfortunately this was not the case.

Now, if you are a serious gambler and you have good money, there is no thing to keep of thinking about the loss. Just forget it and play gambling with a new mind.

Well at least you still alive and able to tell the story , it means that you still able to control yourself and want to sharing to others.
Every people want to win in gambling but remember this, gambling on crypto provide greater risk than ordinary gambling because you're gambling and investing at the same time !
Most of those who lose big amounts are prone to suicide, so we are glad that you was able to survive since it looks like you are already overcome that loses. Big amounts in gambling is too risky, and maybe the OP afford that money to lose but still its a lot. I hope you learn from this mistakes, and don’t ever play again with this too much money.
Yeah, many gamblers get depressed when they lose big amount, you can hear a lot of this on the news. The OP looks like a rich guy since he own so many bitcoin that can afford to lose for. If someone here who still playing and hoping to win big money, should see this post and learn from this experience, there is no way in gambling to win big money without spending more aside from the word Luck.
Rich with 10 BTC that he has without any evidence. Everyone can imagine what he wants, and also you can write a thread like that and say to everyone yoh lost 100 BTC when gambling, I'm sure there will be some people who trust you. However, gambling can bankrupt you in one night, especially when you are gambling online so the risk of spending money in your wallet is wide open. It's just that you can manage it well, use your common sense when gambling in order to win in such a way and get up from your seat when you get a loss, there are only a few ways to minimize you to avoid bankruptcy.

so you think i am lie, come pm i will show you some proofs if you want can't post publically i did not say 100 but it's easy to say even 100000 btc right?though some wrong people starting dm me and approaching me for  scam but let me clear i lost 90% of btc i have not left more then 0.6 hardly.lol

And that's a lesson, don't risk it, don't be a hero always, if you have enough then don't settle for more because its win it or lose it all, being blinded around money and gambling is dangerous, you won't notice it unless you lose it, though you shouldn't yaddle it all the time, move on and pursue yourself on knowing how to get it all back, might as well go back to work instead of gambling.

Self control is the firth thing one must have before you enter in the gambling else one would never realize that how quickly they can go bankrupt if one gets addicted and keep on losing money . It has many side effects if one just go after money and not play for fun.
