Can someone please explain the discrepancy between the block explorer currently showing a network at 75mghs and the pools currently showing a combined 140mghs, more than double the explorer hashrate? Is it a the explorer that fetches the info once in a while?

Hello Fluttercoin community,
Posting here today to see who would like to join the FLC marketing/ social media team. I've already begun to set up the twitter and reddit accounts and want to possibly start on a website very soon. Tried to contact the dev directly to set this up but he clearly doesn't understand the importance of a solid marketing effort... Oh well he will learn fast. Anyways, if you are interested please post here with what you would like your role to be and we will organize from there.
I am willing to help out on website development. (Sent you a PM). But I don't want this to turn into some dramatic thing. I think we really need the support of the main dev if this is going to be successful.

Don't rely on the Blockexplorer Hashrate since its really unprecise. Only valid information is the Wallet and that's where the Pools get their Information form.

Marketing is key, look at DOGE. This fltcoin has the POB that deserves its fair amount of promotion, especially when you look at the recent coin launches.

Hi,
I've collaborated with the dev a few days ago in the launch thread (at cryptocointalk) regarding the website. I'm working on it at the moment. Hopefully I'll send it to him by this weekend.

I think a key component for the web site will be a FAQ or page about the "Proof of Block / Proof of Transaction" feature, as it keeps coming up in the thread. Specifically, people will want to know why it won't work / be profitable to send money back and forth to yourself to game the feature and earn free coins. Also additional details about the Proof of Stake feature (percentages, vesting times, etc.) will be key, as I have noticed an overall increased interest in PoS coins as investment tools (i.e. HBN).

I talked to Kidcoin and he said that he would appreciate if we all took on the task of creating the social media, websites, dice-games, etc. He's just very caught up with IRL work right now but did say that he would be done with it soon and then be available to assist our efforts. I will be PM'ing all of you who expressed interest in helping out and send you the link to the google document that we can collaborate in.

Do you know if he has other coins or if this will be his main project?
I can't really help out with the technical side of things but I can do other stuff if needed.

The dev has been pretty active with this coin, troubleshooting stuff early in development. Just sayin, he might not have the time to tweet.

I know I just don't want him to give up on a good thing. We are all busy, I totally understand. He seems fairly intelligent which is really uncommon as a coin Dev from what iv seen with other coins so far.
