"random" block reward is not random..

it keeps getting abused by multipools and other big farms using scripts to only targeting high value blocks

not going to mine this.

i think the dev is going to change this to a static reward. he probably didn't expect the coin popularity to go from literally a difficulty of 5 two days ago, to a difficulty of 150 today. it's just happended so fast.
Why even post to say you not gonna mine it though LOL.

I am simply informing others that if they mine this coin they better get a script to only target high value blocks or they will get shit on by others who do.

Although, if it is changed, I may consider mining it Smiley

Yes it is.I'm on that pool too. Its small, just wait it out.
We just take slightly longer than the bigger pools to get blocks, you end up with the same amount of coin.
We would get blocks way faster if more would join!

maybe the other pools can lower the fee to 1% or 0% temporarily then miners would come to those pools.
The biggest pool is only charging 1% right now and that could be more attractive to miners.
This has been the case over at http://flutter.miningwith.us since the start, we are always 0%. Not really sure why people flock to large pools with lots of users and fees.

[...]  Not really sure why people flock to large pools with lots of users and fees.

Perhaps because people are annoyed with your constant spamming of your pool in this thread?

And what do you recommend? I don't really see how one post per every other page = spam?
Most if not all the other pools are advertising just as much, my good man.

People just pick the one with the most hashrate, has nothing to do with whether or not I advertise, or have no fees, or do anything differently.
They don't know what a 51% attack is, nor do they care. If I stop advertising, people will just go and give cloudminers their hashrate, just because they have 1GH and are getting blocks uber fast.

Most if not all coins are like this, just saying: look at dogecoin and how dogehouse is ran, and it makes no sense as to why they are #1 in hashrate.

Yet yours was the only one I got annoyed with.. (maybe it's because your ad takes up the entire screen on every page?), which is why I never used your pool, but have had hash pointed to the other 3 "original" pools. Perhaps your potential customers are also put off with your whining about how the big pools are ruining it for you. Focus on what is good about your pool, rather than what is bad about your competion.

Anwyays, I thought that PoS was in place partly to prevent the 51% attacks?

I tried out miningwith.us last night when I went to sleep. When I woke up 5 1/2 hours later I only had 195 coins total. I then switched to bitember and got 512 coins in 5 hours. Now I am trying out qemulab to see how they go. I think most people just go to whomever is hitting the most blocks.

Which is really unfair, we could have just had 5 hours of fairly bad/small blocks with the way random blocks are.
Smaller pools will never get the same amount of blocks as the bigger pools if you guys just continuously give bigger pools all your hash... this seems like a endless cycle.
I guess I just have to hope people try us out and stay, eventually we will have hash to match...

This wont give you the correct calculation for reward amount by the way, your hashrate is not the same as every person on the pool so dividing by users will give you a incorrect amount.
