What's puzzling is the change in volume.  If few were selling and buyers remained the same, the price would be shooting up.

can't expect huge volume 24/7. things need a break, ppl need to move or check other coins they have, need to reload btc, etc etc. if FLT follows BC, to scale of course, we will be in store for a treat.  BC, FLT, UTC have all made me money and are coins ppl aren't willing to sell. Careful if you do sell and try to get back in cheaper since most sell orders aren't substantial, showing ppl are holding and waiting.  Wink

Hi

I am unable to open my fluttercoin QT.  The file I downloaded is fluttercoin-0.4.5.2-windows.zip.  This contains the folders 64 and 32 both of which contain QT files.

When I attempted to open the 32 and 64 QT.exe the error message is:

Assertion Failed Program: [path on C drive] File: src/kernal.cpp, Line 377
Expression: pindex->pprev || pindex -> GetBlockHash() ==(!TestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlock TestNet)

Option are to Abort , Ignore, Retry.  Abort and Ignore closed the QT
Retry = Error Loading blkindex.dat

Assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.  Smiley

Anyone?  Please?

Kidcoin should be able to assist you when he comes to check the thread shortly.

Hey all, sorry for the stupid question: What is the PoS setup for this coin? (when does it start, what coinage is required to stake, what is the % reward?). Sorry if this is already posted somewhere obvious.

Thanks

No premine.

Anyone who is concerned with Fluttercoin volume must consider how much growth we have gone through in the past week. There could be another few days of dumps before we see the next rise and that is fine as it is to be expected with naturally rising coins such as FLT. If price rose quickly all that would mean is there is a large dump incoming afterwards. Be patient everyone, our dev team is very dedicated and has a lot of awesome things in the works for you guys. If you have any ideas you'd like to discuss or if you are interested in getting involved with our efforts please PM me.

PoS: when does it start, what coinage is required to stake, what is the % reward?

This would be good info to have on the OP imho.

Someone is once again causing everyone to orphan, they must have way more than 51% of the network..
Please, if you are lending your hash to a pool with more than 51% of the network, move to a different one.

It causes things like this when you contribute to a pool with too much hash, it effects the whole network:

2 Orphans: http://flutter.miningwith.us/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks
1 Orphan: http://flt.bitember.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks
12 Orphans: http://flt.cloudminers.net/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks
2 Orphans: http://flt.dedicatedpool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

Kind of ridiculous if a multipool is causing this.

Anybody know? I don't see this info on the OP.

The dev answered once in the old thread: stake age is 30/90 days, PoS reward initially is 100%, and the coin uses the NVCS model (read more about it here).

I'd strongly advise thekidcoin to finally add all the necessary info (concerning PoT and PoS) to the OP, as these questions WILL be asked again, and again, and again... and again!

I was just investigating this, but it's rather strange that almost every pool has the issue.
