It's strange that so many people are having troubles syncing their wallet. If you are, I suggest doing the old trick. -Close Wallet. -Go to roaming folder, delete everything but wallet.dat and .conf. -my .conf looks like this: (I didn't add the noirc line from OP, but I have deamon) rpcuser=youruser rpcpassword=xyz server=1 daemon=1 addnode=54.203.244.170 addnode=54.203.244.27 addnode=54.199.237.235 listen=1 dnsseed=1
-Reopen wallet. Yeah, maybe try this, I also have the daemon=1 line in my conf file. However, I also have the noirc=1 line and it's been fine for me.

The Fluttercoin official website is now up and running, needs some polishing here and there but it looks great. Thanks to lumeire! http://www.fluttercoin.us/Well done! The website looks great Wallet is not synching past 15553! ...maybe this will get your attention. Tried different approaches, one of which was using only the block explorer links as nodes. In this last attempt i got a beautiful " WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or notify developers." message instead of the normal green "Synchronizing with network..." bar. Same problem here. I got the latest wallet version. I tried 32 and 64 version and I tried the dnsseed thing. I wonder if you guys are the only ones having this issue... everything's working fine on my end and client.

Most of those "everyone" are multipools who automatically convert the mined coins of their users into btc. And as long as the price and hashrate are so low and the mining keeps being so profitable they will keep mining and selling fluttercoins. But I don't really see this as a problem. At least not a problem we can easily fix without other big miners mining fluttercoin permanently and making it unprofitable to mine fluttercoin for the multipools. Anyway it's not that much coins, you can see the price is rising. And every day Fluttercoin gets new people interested who are willing to invest in it, so the more time goes by, the smaller the "problem" becomes. Actually I think it's a good thing. The multipools push the trade volume. Cheers

When does the Proof-of-Stake kick in? As in After how many days, mintcoin is 20 days, cachecoin is 7 days, what if fluttercoin's minimum time to stake?

FLT might want to make a similar multipool at some point. eat or be eaten

Cheers i don't really see it as a problem either. what really matter is if people are interested in the coin and end up keeping some. hell, some of those multipools don't even tell their pool members which coin the pool is currently mining. people could be mining and dumping and not even know it's fluttercoin.

Sounds like we will need to make a static block reward. It can't prevent multipools but it might help [/quote binaries will be released tomorrow... fork at 22K static rewards

If your getting stuck, change the conf from addnode to connect - then download the blockchain. Shutdown the wallet. Change the conf back to addnode. Restart the wallet.
There could be a bad node out there forked - there is no fix except for it to be banned. There is no fork to fix etc.
Just blew away everything and re-downloaded the blockchain with no issue using the standard conf.

Will contact every pool and exchange (but pass this along if you could anyways), but here is info on the latest MANDATORY update: We are forking at block 22000 (approximately 7 days) - this update below is mandatory (you man take the HEAD commit if you wish)https://github.com/thekidcoin/fluttercoin/releases/tag/v0.4.5.3-fltIn addition below is a mandatory stratum-mining update - this is the only version that will work with POT blocks, and this must be in place by the fork (it can be installed now - it will begin working immediately). Note you will need to first upgrade to Fluttercoin v0.4.5.3 above.https://github.com/thekidcoin/stratum-miningIt is the latest version, only mods are a few lines to support POT. This is mandatory for all pools to use this version for Fluttercoin.Binaries will be released Tuesday.
