Good decision, reducing the house edge to be competitive is just one way that you are really serious to have a share on the pie in the business.
Sure there are also house edge which are lower than 1% but you play neutral, you just continue to improve your gambling site and make sure you also do some kind of advertisement in the forms of promotions to invite potential gamblers to visit your site.

The word "Anonymous" caught my attention to this thread. But when I opened the link as I wanted to see the casino, I was freaked out. The UI is so bad and the colors of the website don't look like a proper casino. As some people have said above you should put it in a beta mode first and try to implement some ramifications first.

But what's the purpose of making it public? If you need beta-testers (which is normal), you can ask people around here and you will definitely find a lot of volunteers (paying them something won't hurt either). That will also raise more interest as well as arouse gamblers curiosity. Just think about the first impression your casino will have (as something really amateurish). It will be hard to get rid of this impression later if you decide to turn it into something else. Anyway, good luck to you with your effort
