What i know, KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many Hunter run away ! Why? Is it because people don't want review their identity for security reason or people are joining campaign with bot software ..
Many bounty hunters hate KYC because of the issue of security breaches, many are afraid to compromise their identity to ICO project scammers, also to me KYC do not go well with the whole idea of decentralization in the cryptocurrency world

actually it doesn't matter we have to be KYC if they are a trustworthy and truly serious project, most of them now their projects try to steal data from bounty hunters, how do you want to do KYC only for those who are uncertain we will get the results! I'm not a KYC problem as long as the project is good
Exactly! The quality of the projects is the main reason of mistrust to KYC procedure. And KYC is not neccessary at the beginning of the project. If the project will become enough succesfull than KYC is acceptable. Not earlier

For me.its never means if it must kyc program for get rewards bounty.but many program need kyc but it scam at over project..and we scarry to send own data if their project is scam.primary i like kyc program for great project and ico promotion
It may indeed turn out that KУC is demanded by fraudsters and it is very dangerous to give them your data, because in any structure there are corrupt people who can sell the database of people who have passed KУC and this can put them at some risk, because the fraudster will have all the personal data of the hunter’s bounty .

Am beginning to observe this to be true. I participated in raincheck and presently Velic, I noticed we have had lesser participants than in campaigns without KYC. Though it might be protective,It is also depriving for hunters to benefit from good projects. Project team should usually provide a means of promise to all investors and bounty hunters to ensure that all information submitted will be confidential and protected.
Sometimes, its really annoying that there's other ico campaign became unfair to their bounty participants. Because after, submitting their KYC the date of the distribution was not fulfill and they broke their promises for what they had announced before end of their project. And yet to other project who don't have any KYC needed they are more consistent to their promises compare to the project who has a KYC requirements. That's could be the reason why some are hate it, not because they are hiding something, its not like that.

KYC is of course done for the purpose of security and the elimination of bots and multi-accounts. Bounty hunters do not want to be verified, possibly due to the fact that documents are sent to unknown people and there are no guarantees that the database will not be stolen or sold to third parties. Be careful.

I can understand them. A lot of people are afraid for the safety of their personal data and when the team members do not announce a KYC process it is not surprising that some hunters do not want to do it. But you are right, there are a lot of cheaters as well.

I don't hate kyc, but I don't like it when they tell it at the end of the campaign. This is like deception in my opinion, moreover they sometimes implement very difficult procedures such as not accepting an IDcard and only receiving a passport. You probably already know that not everyone has a passport in this world.

Kyc is still a no go for me. Since there are so many scams in the crypto area, i just do not feel safe when i participate in kyc. So i'll give up airdrops or bounties if they call for kyc.

I think there are only two reasons why they hate KYC and not only for bounty hunters, because KYC has now been applied in many places such as exchanges. But when we talk about the ICO which requires bounty hunters to send KYC and they hate it, the first may be that they don't want their personal identities to be published because of the very sensitive personal identity, then they hate it and won't be willing, and the second they may participate with multiple accounts that might be difficult to send other identities that might be disguised. But apart from that, KYC is very vulnerable to being traded for negative activities such as blackmarket, darkweb, etc. So I think it's natural that they hate KYC because of high concerns.

The reason probably is they dont want their identity and personal info to be known and it is not safe to just give your private information.

Yes, one of the reason that bounty hunters dont want to reveal their identity. Second point is with KYC it becomes complex to work with. Since different projects do their KYC with different types, this is not so good and fast experience to bounty hunters. Another side of asking KYC by projects is, it eliminates fake entries or multiple account entries which in turn increases the bounty rewards for genuine bounty hunters. I personally dont hesitate to do kyc if the project is good and giving handsome rewards.

One of the reasons why members of the bounty do not feel good about KYC is the fear of sending copies of their documents confirming their identity. They are afraid because they believe that their copies of documents can be used without their knowledge. I studied this question a little and I know that copies of documents are not enough to complete their use without the owner of these documents. That is, most of them are afraid, because they do not know the laws on which their documents can be used. Others hate KYC, as they have multi-accounts and cannot against this identity verification on these accounts. In any case, the conditions put the customer, not the performer. The performer, in this case the participant of the bounty, can only accept or reject these conditions.

I think it depends on the bounty of the hunter because there are those who hate and some who don't. well, indeed, a bounty hunter shouldn't require you because they don't buy coins / tokens when ico

Bounty hunters hate this check due to the fact that their personal data could very easily get into the network due to bad faith the names of the creators of the project.

if the project looks good and the results are good then I don't think people will hate it but sometimes what makes people hate KYC is because after they do KYC but the coins they get are only rubbish coins and that sucks. so not everyone hates KYC including me.

There are too many scammer tried to steal information from people. I don’t want to give personal information for some free token. May be in the future if government involve with crypto, it is necessary to require KYC, but for some free coins or bounty, it is too much to ask people for their information, and I think KYC also need to be both site, if bounty providers ask bounty hunters for KYC, then they should also prove their own personal detail information first.

I don't see the reason why bounty hunters should run away from KYC if they truly didn't cheat. Their problem is not with the disclosure of their identity but because they cheated.

Because the passage of KYC is dangerous, because you never know where your documents can get further. Based on this, draw conclusions and think for what purposes your documents can be used.

There would not have been anything wrong with kyc, if not for scammers who deceive people to get their personal details, by lunching scam projects. Some of them, after scamming investors of their money, they also go ahead to steal identities and sell them.

In my opinion, it is obvious that very few people will want to provide their personal data to each project in which they participate. And suddenly the project will turn out to be scam, and the information about the participants will get on the Internet, which may entail serious consequences.
