free labour

I have just been removed from the telegram group because of the task of a few uncomfortable issues.

This is another bounty campaign that has not pay for a year. They create subsequent editions of the campaign
Dragging the campaigns endlessly
They did not pay out the prizes.
And in return it offers "shares".

Without informing about it earlier, they want full KYC from all employees (bounty hunters).
The form is through their website.
They want to obey the law and break it themselves. Collecting such infomations requires observance of appropriate laws.

I asked some uncomfortable questions.
I got an answer to them

However, when I asked a user named Jessie Brown to show me his document with hidden sensitive data, he removed me from the group along with uncomfortable entries.

Why do you delete everything? I didn't offend you even once. I didn't say anything that is a lie

Quote
Tell you how you work?
You collect documents from people.
You create new "fictitious" projects.
Then you run away with funds
And so on and off
Beautiful business

They say different things and do different things. CONSIDER!

//////

Most in this ICO environment is one big mafia (I mean ICO).
They steal (aggregate) your ID documents.
They create business on "left data".
They steal your funds.
They start all over again.
I WARNING!

INTRO SCAM

SIDERA SCAM

HUMANCOIN SCAM

TrustLogic - SCAM

Ligercoin - SCAM

DATABLOKCHAIN - Huh PFF

There are many more similar scams. I've had enough hard work for scammers!
Interpol comes in

This is bad. I am okay if the bounty manager clearly stated that the KYC IS required at the beginning. It gives people choice whether they want to participate or not.

Changing bounty rules at the end is outrightly not acceptable.

I'm not defending them here but after I check their bounty group, their statement about KYC for bounty hunters is stated since October 2018 (anybody can check it at @dbcio_bounty). There's a lot of messages asking and answering about KYC too.

If I get it correctly they'll switch to equity model without using any token, which is why they requires KYC from anyone including bounty hunters. Not the best decision though, they should at least offer opportunity to be paid in ETH.

If they already stated about their kyc requirements in that period, I think it is the responsibility of the bounty hunter to know that such kyc requirement exists before joining the campaign.
Sometimes, you will overlook such detail because of too many spams or messages in the thread.
But before you join, make sure that you are reading all the instructions and requirements.
Many campaigns are giving the statement that they can change the rules at any given time. This is really off for me.

No.
There were several bounty campaigns. I participated in the first one a long time ago (at the beginning of 2018) and there was no information about kyc.
I also watched the telegram all the time. People were asking. I asked. The answer was always that KYC is not required.

This is how scammers behave:
They are lying
They postpone deadlines
They do not pay
And finally, they want documents from you in exchange for shares of something that is worth 0 at a given moment and for that they designate DEADLINE (and for what purpose is this deadline?).

//

If I see that you are honest and have created a real and good product.
Then we will gladly take your shares. Then I can trust you.

What is the problem?

//

and BTW. The first two advisors (Vladimir Nikitin and Igor Karavaev )  evaluating this DBC project are linked to many ICO SCAMS. (They evaluated more than many projects that were a total thievery)

A coincidence??? Maybe yes maybe not

Subsequent analogous ico with bounty - DATAREUM (All these extra  "big data" startups )

Can't you really see the dependencies of how these scammers work?

The same pseudo experts.
Same "strategies" bounty
Same "techniques" and psychological tricks
Same lies
The same deadline if you want us to "graciously pay you".

I hope that they will finish where their place is

And these KYC verifications are done by YOUR DOCUMENTS.
This is their "business model" . Be careful

DON'T LET YOURSELVES BE!

You're right OP, these practices are not normal (and the correspondence with Datareum are disturbing)
Changes the rules after the game is outrageous, especially in an industry that wants to "disrupted" trust lol
For DataBlockchain, I'm however still not convinced that their approach is a scam, perhaps more like clumsiness and improvisation?
We will see

I understand that Datablockchain seems to have fu**ed up, as they moved form token to equity. but this is to protect the investor in ICO during this bearish trend. At least they are open to pay bountyhunters for they work. And as it is about EQUITY, it is mandatory to pass KYC.
On the other side, we have HUMANCOIN, which should be renamed to HUMANSCAM... they banned everyone, closed channels, ... used bountyhunters and they didnt offered any kind of reward. HOpe karma finds you wherever you are and make you pay for this.

Humancoin stopped the project and returned the money to the investors.
I wouldn't call this SCAM, it was just a complete waste of time.

p.s. We are in the same boat, I also translated the whitepaper.  Wink

This company is fake! Register on the Cayman Islands until the end of January 2019. After no renewal. If someone sends them documents, it will be a fool. Since the shares can not distribute the company which closed.

i agree!
i was scammed too.
they are really unfair!
Before joining bounty, i ask every time if kyc is mandatory.
If they answer me "NO", i join the campaign, as happened with swachh.
They are really unprofessional to change rules just to pull off bounty hunters and to not pay

In the meantime, what happens on the main channel?
Is it an early holiday? ..
What do you think these deleted accounts are just spammers?
I have too many scams behind me (over 100 projects) to not feel what it smells like...

Looking at the group seems like a dead project to me.

I don't think that it adds up something new. Maybe a telegram follower provider was testing his services. You can't be sure unless you find a good proof. I earlier worked for a project where the owner never signed up for such service but still the group was getting some followers.
