many things are awkward in the course of a scam project.
starting from fake teams, odd documents like WP and others.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

It is not enough to consult only other people..The whitepaper and social media accounts of the project you are going to invest in should be examined in detail..The achievements of the project team members in previous years are also important..But sometimes it may not be enough to examine everything..A very successful project can be scam, and can be successful in projects that no one believes.

This is still the hardest thing to do here on cryptocurrency. Its how can you distinguish legit ICO projects or scams. Do you know that even our higher ranks seniors are also becomes a victim of this? Scams have the same appearance, function and requirements as the legit ones and you should be alert on new projects all the time. Read comments and reviews always.
There are many scams that are very obvious and that you do not need to be a genius to identify but there are many other scams that cover their tracks very well and it is almost impossible to tell the difference between a good project and a project that is a scam, this is the main reason why I have decided stop investing in icos, I am not willing to risk my money investing in something that most likely will make me a victim of a scam.

Either whitepapers are sketchy or too good to be true. Additionally running background checks on team can be helpful and how they run their social media handle. Scam projects don't give much information and are not willing to give their community free rein in dialog. This are just some few listed.

It's so difficult to find really scam altcoin project. Most often this is a matter of chance to find good project or not. Just think and analyze things by yourself and all will be good.

If you have recently appeared on this forum, you still have no experience with how to recognize fraudulent projects, then I advise you not to invest large sums until you gain solid ground under your feet and learn to correctly identify good projects. Otherwise you may get into trouble.

to be honest it is very difficult to be able to find out about a scam project, many projects are convincing but eventually there are also a lot of scams like the one currently being 4NEW (KWATT). who will know the project will scam usually only those who make the project. we never know what's in their hearts.
when we plunge into this world of course we must be prepared to bear all the risks that will occur to us. I've heard that someone has said RISK = PROFIT.

So I'm sorry I can't give you the criteria for a scam project. maybe other members know.

It is not easy to discover a scam. The scams are getting better and the fraudsters learn and improve their scams. Also, some serious projects think it is ok to cheat the bounty participants after they have done their job.

One good litmus test is how they treat the bounty hunters these days. For better or worse, bounties are currently dominated by participants from developing countries

who have little legal options to enforce their rights, so how they honor the bounty participants is a true test of the ethics and integrity for any project that employs them...

Money ,,, everyone need money.. Some people choose the right way some not..
I new in this crypto world.. N newbie in this forum.. You guys that have a lot experience must be know the sign of scam project..
Can you tell me ?

The first sign that tells me that an ICO project is a scam is when they use templates which means that the design is already there and they just change the info and details for their website. I used to study web design so using templates is very familiar with me and if I see one then those teams behind it are just looking a quick way to make money using the blockchain tech.

Most of the time, a scam altcoin project provide a fake team faces to their website or no team face's at all. This is the first thing that I look for whenever I am checking a new altcoin project. But even if they provide real team, I look at their background mostly in the linkedin and make sure that they have experience and knowledge to continue the project, because even when they are not a scam if they can't continue the development of their project it will always be look like a scam and will be lost of money for the investors so honestly scam at all.

Some actual ways can still be done to detect some projects that are indeed scam and unclear. potentially scam. we must be truly observant in choosing projeck with transparency from the team

Scammers do not stand still and develop, so it is true that each time it becomes more difficult to recognize a fraudulent project. Even a superficial study of the project, studying the pages of team members on social networks, reading the White Paper and talking to team members and their advisors can be protected from amateurs' scams.

what kind of way can we do. maybe if the project by copying data from another project we can do the checking itself. but there are some scams that have barely been detected and have done ico for a very long time. then he finished and ran away. I think that cases like this happen a lot throughout 2018.

Well, crypto currency scammer can not be detect through the study of social network, white paper, talking to the team involving and most of the advisors are also a victim either. However, the best way to figure out a scam project is doing the team involving picture research, finding the country with their site domain belong to and doing a depth search of the project address.

I cannot determine how to know scam altcoin project because until now, and it is too difficult to detect or to know which the scam project is. But if the project cannot continue the programs and run away from the investor, then we can call them a scammer. They can easily to change the identity of the teams, or they can rebuild the project from scratch, and they will get the investor's money again on the other day. It will happen again and again, and we need to be careful when we want to invest.

It seems to me that the favorite positive actions for the benefit of the project will have good results. In any case, if the team is professional and does everything for the development of the project, then such a project will have a very good investment attractiveness.
