2019, A Challenging Year for Ethereum

This would be a very hard year for Ethereum but with all the updates that the team has announced it should be one of the most efficient years in Ethereums history. With its hardfork and hopefully ready Ethereum 2.0 update, it will fly.

Ethereum is still at its best, dominating the dapp market in 2018. It gains the highest active number of dapp users among others. Not just that, it’s leading the market also in terms of wallet holders and total number of dapps.

But despite of the stable growth, Ethereum may find 2019 a tough year to begin with. Aside from the less transaction it has compared to the others, its dapp users needs to maintain an ETH for the gass fee every transaction. This greatly affects the dapp users experience and full mass adoption of Ethereum Dapps.

This is something an Ethereum dapp must consider and/or think about this year.

yes I think so too, it looks like ethereum must think harder in 2019 to be able to maintain its stability in the market. I don't think it's too difficult to do that because ethereum is one of the biggest altcoins with large volumes and clear concepts.

with the decline in ethereum prices, now many investors are disappointed and start leaving ethereum. it was marked by the war on the coinmarketcap ethereum competing with xrp. but I am sure ethereum will survive.

I agree that Ethereum is facing a very challenging year in 2019 especially with the postponement of the Constantinopole hard fork. What might investors think of ethereum if they can't resolve the issue of upgrades. They already have the roadmap but hasn't been launched on time. If they can resolve these and followed the roadmap, there would be no problem with Ethereum.

ETH deserves more than 400$ but i also blame current market conditions for this negative aura.  Increase in price with increasing volumes will help this developing coin to achieve more higher results along with desirable version of chain.

I will tell you it's normal, joining late is not a reason not to know the past of ETH.
Check it's past prices and trends, for sure you'll get some good information that will convince you, this things are just normal.

Yes, this is right really 2019 is challenging year of ethereum. Its totally depends on the condition of market. But at that time ethereum is in very strong position and comes second in position after bitcoin.

 According to the forecasts of the founder, Vitalik Butorin, it is planned to change the Protocol,which will provide a threefold increase in bandwidth, increase the speed of payment transactions, and in consequence, the rise in price of Erhereum. Let's hope for such a development. Love the movement in the market.

It seems like it but in time i'm sure that Ethereum will ascend and evolve to a more effective product. The upcoming major upgrades to ETH Network will certainly improve the whole system making it more powerful. Hopefully these upgrades be the factor that enthusiasts were looking for, for adoption to finally take place.

No doubt ethereum is continuously dominating the dapp market even in bad market. I also believe year 2019 will be a tough year for ethereum. I hope with the expected ethereum Constantinople hard fork eth network speed will be increased and Gas fee will also be reduced to some extent and I feel this year EOS and Tron will give good fight to ethereum.

Ethereum is a very promising project for the future. But it is useful to keep the expectations low in today's conditions. Especially the POS switch seems to last a long time. It is difficult to predict how the market will react to this.

Agree with you, that really is challenging for ETH in 2019 and they have to recovery and improve ETH, ex: speed, gas fee, ... I have seen some platforms are working so great and they can attract new startups.
