This year is not a difficult times for Ethereum, maybe this month because it's about to end but ETH is still at $100.

We need major improvement in the months to come, the hard fork looks promising and after they postponed it next month, I believe there's no more
similar movement like that. I'm guessing, not really that convince but I believe next month there will be rally again.

But, ethereum has good community and projects also that are using the ETH platform or the block chain. Anyway, if it will be transferrng to POS then surely it will take some time. Yet, after it will be establish then there could be more good things that will come to ethereum and it will be expected. Let just wait and see what will going to happen next for ethereum.

Ethereum is still at its best, dominating the dapp market in 2018. It gains the highest active number of dapp users among others. Not just that, it’s leading the market also in terms of wallet holders and total number of dapps.

But despite of the stable growth, Ethereum may find 2019 a tough year to begin with. Aside from the less transaction it has compared to the others, its dapp users needs to maintain an ETH for the gass fee every transaction. This greatly affects the dapp users experience and full mass adoption of Ethereum Dapps.

This is something an Ethereum dapp must consider and/or think about this year.

You are very right. The gas fees may be quite a setback in the dApp application for ETH. My real concern is that not many users will be willing to pay the high gas fees(depending on network condition) for the transactions  on dApp.
