Apart from that, I remember as a couple years ago there was also a thread run by some news outlet which invested in four different casinos (later they removed some casinos and added a few new). They had been reporting their earnings (as well as losses) every week, and this is what OP should be looking for. Can anyone post a link to that thread? I would be interested to find out what their effort ended with too

It looks that OP should start reading it (and anyone else interested in this kind of thing) as there is a wealth of information and a lot of pearls of wisdom scattered over there. It looks like the reviewer tried to get his feet wet with ICO's and he wasn't quite happy with the results, so he had to disinvest:

ICO's turned out to be a bad investment and from the trend it is obvious that the returns are decreasing a lot this last year. Mostly as the bankrolls get too big compared to what people are wagering

Besides that, I think it could give some idea to the OP to spread the investment on several websites that in that thread. Nah, I won't invest in ICO anymore before the situations in the market changing. Because last time I invest, it didn't give much profit. I leave some of my tokens without having a price, and I don't know when the tokens can get a real price.

You don't dictate the amount, you should follow the sites minimum requirement but normally they don't demand a big minimum
for bankroll investment as they are seeking volume of investors to increase their bankroll. Big investors normally focus their money
on a profitable site so if you are investing with them, you are just sharing a small profit if you don't have a decent amount to invest.

Diversifying for just sake of diversifying would be horrible, putting your money in multiple income sources is always a great idea in case one gets stuck for a while but also putting your money into stuff you don't know or not trust very much is a risk bigger than the one place investment. I would rather divide it into 3 places that we all know and just hope that it gets a good return for me but I wouldn't put it on 10+ places I never heard of.

This is a good suggestion of providing the report either weekly or monthly of any investment done in any of the sites and what is the status as this will give clear picture to everyone and after a year or so we can easily even decide which one has performed well.

There are those people who prefer to invest into these websites instead of starting their own who invest a lot of money. So it is not just good to allow gamblers to invest into the website they gamble and small timers who can't afford to be a business but its also great for whales who have 10k+ thousand dollars but know that 10k+ thousand dollars is not enough to start a casino so they instead invest into an already established casino as well.

Diversifying your investment is just part of the strategy to minimize the risk, it is necessary that you choose the right project based on your opinion and this one should be a well research project whatever it is. In gambling, it's easy to find a good and reputable gambling site but there's always a risk since you are putting your money without insurance, unlike depositing in banks where you can recover your money in case of bankruptcy.

Not really all gambling sites do this. Some chose to stand on their budget and don't want to depend with their investors.
