I think you are already late for the party. It is already use as a payment method. In fact its been widely use in our country as a payment method for bills, loads, and even game credits. So far bitcoin and ethereum are in the use but sooner or later it might gets wider.

Now in many countries it is already possible to pay with cryptocurrencies.  For example, you can book a flight, accommodation and car rental for bitcoins.  Eat in restaurants, pay for goods in online stores.  Everything develops, look and find, if there is, than to pay.

To purchase the coin or token which commits the transaction in the shortest possible time. I think Dash would be a good fit. But I hope that bitcoin will solve the problem with scaling and it will be accepted for payment worldwide.

Here in my country, we can pay our bills using cryptocurrency. We are allowed to pay any kind of bills, either utility bills, telecom or even credit card using local exchanges. I was really hoping that someday, we can able to use cryptocurrency in paying stuffs in a mall so that I don't need to convert it into fiat.

The reason why adoption is slow is because of the price volatility. Major economic players once met to stabilize world currencies and were successful. Thus ushering in a world that is the most interconnected in modern times.

I believe cryptocurrencies will also do the same thing in the future. However that doesn't stop payments and remittance projects to try using blockchain tech. EthaRemit.org has been testing solutions to that end.

Wow happy to see that, my country still has a limited use. I can only be used crypto in online, but essentially cryptocurrency can be used to pay and currency right? no longer need to feel embarrassed to use bitcoin or crypto, because bitcoin has become a respected and accepted currency right now
