Just when I thought that Sunrisers Hyderabad are making a comeback, Andre Russell gets the most important wicket of Rahul Tripathi. Before this, it looked as if SRH may get to somewhere around 200. But now, it looks insanely difficult, as they have Abdul Samad at one end, and Pat Cummins at the other. Not much batting to come after this. They have Bhuvneshwar Kumar next, to be followed by tailenders Vijayakanth Viyaskanth and T Natarajan. My guess is that they may end up at somewhere around 160.

2 back to back failures for Head!

Telling you that this guy is saving his best for the knockouts or most probably t-20 WC encounter against India.  In the last 2 finals (WTC and WC) he was the main reason we got f*cked lol.

KKR are currently in well control even we are having some good recovery from the SRH, but they lost their big hitter Heinrich Klaasen at very important stage now Rahul Tripathi is still one and having very good inning in important and big game which can bring them into competition even It's still not easy for them, but he is last man standing for the SRH.

Having 115 in 13 overs are quite reasonable after losing four early wickets and if we are having some more fireworks from the Tripathi things can go interesting for them Sunil Narain and Travis Head are having not good match with Head gone cheaply, and now we are having punishment for the Sunil Narain which is trying to have something good for his team which is currently favourite.

The worst performance in today's match was the Australian batsman's Travis Head. He has bagged two consecutive Golden Ducks. Sunrisers Hyderabad may not be expecting that from him at the moment as he has had a very impressive batting performance in the previous few matches. Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers have to be praised today as they have shown how great bowling performance they can deliver today.

Except for Sunil Narine, all the bowlers of the Kolkata Knight Riders team bowled under control, especially Mitchell Starc. Mitchell Starc bowled 3 overs so far giving away three valuable wickets for just 22 runs he bowled out Travis Head on the first ball of the innings. Maybe that's why the management of Kolkata Knight Riders bought him to the team with such a price. He is giving his good performance when Kolkata Knight Riders need good performance and maybe that is what Kolkata Knight Riders want from him.
Today we saw Sunrisers Hyderabad's batsmen in complete ruins as they have played 126 runs for nine wickets in 16 overs. The first match of the qualifier round should have been more exciting but maybe it wasn't.

No Travis Head performed in this match so what is the advantage of their good team in the whole IPL when they are doing this type of performance in the most crucial match of the tournament? Let’s see if today’s match goes to Kolkata Knight Riders hand and maybe they will qualify for the final.

Despite losing two wickets we are having KKR in well control thanks to their openers Sunil Narain and wicket keeper batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz after end of the 8 overs we are having 86 for 2 which is clearly showing things are under well control for win this Qualifier 1 and having their spot into final of this season with SRH which is having good batting throughout the season fail to give any positive impact on this important game with their bowling was already not good and KKR are taking good advantage of this weakness now we are having both Iyers on crease with both are looking for the commendable win which will give them good booster and confidence for the winning this year's title left-handed Venkatesh Iyer playing his best game as this is good season for him as well for having good performance throughout and good wins for his team.

I do not know which match you are watching. But Shanto was only able to get three runs from 11 balls. And that is absolutely acceptable from a captain, especially against a team like the USA. The good thing is, in the end, Bangladesh was able to get to 153 thanks to Tawhid Ridoy and Mahmudullah. I still do not think it is going to be a good enough total for memories especially the way they are bowling right now. USA has already got 40 runs in just five overs. They have also only lost one wicket. There is a very big chance that Bangladesh is going to lose this match.

By the way, I want to talk about something. First of all, how did ICC actually agree to have the World Cup in a country like this where the field is going to be like the one that Bangladesh is playing on? It looks like a golf course filled with mud. And why the USA team is made out of almost 9 or 10 outsiders? Like they are literally giving callouts in Hindi. What the fuck is this? If this goes on for longer I think cricket is going to die out very soon.

At this point, I am pretty sure that this IPL does not mean anything. SRH has given a target of 160. Which is in no way a bad target. And KKR has been able to that total with 38 balls left. They have also done that with eight wickets in hand. This is just meaningless and a waste of time. whenever I tune in to watch the IPL I actually literally see that the ball is flying out of the ground. I mean I understand that people want to see lots of boundaries and over boundaries being hit in a T20 match. But this is a little too much.

I am saying this from a neutral point of view. I am not saying this just because this match was one-sided.

Travis Head was just a crucial wicket and it put the whole Sunrisers Hyderabad team under a lot of pressure.

Now, he is playing as the backbone of the team. At that time, he was not in form and back to Australia but from the day he came back to India to play, he has been playing very amazingly. At this time,  the whole team of Sunrise Hyderabad was out on 159 and Kolkata Knight Riders took full advantage of this and chased this score with still more than five overs to spare. Yes, you are correct.  If their bowlers worked hard and struggled, bowled well, this target could have been a good target too.  But the runs were not stopped by their bowler and the wickets were not obtained due to which the match will be lost.  If they had put pressure on them, there would have been chances to win the match.  KKR batsmen have scored 164 runs in 13 overs to win the match.  And their batsmen have achieved this target very quickly and easily.  I didn't perform well in SRH because of which I couldn't give a tough target.  Even if their bats had given the target of 200, KKR batsmen were capable of hitting the full target.  But luck did not support them and they could not perform well.  Congratulations to KKR on the win.  His team has performed well today.Now if you try this next time you can win the match.  If they don't take interest, they will lose the match again.

In 1st play off SRH posted a target of 160 runs Hyderabad team lost wickets early which created pressure on them. Kolkata Knight Riders chase down the target 164/2 in 14th overs excellent innings played by Venkatesh Iyer and  shreyas iyer both players make fifties they played 97 runs partnership on just 44 balls which help his team to won this match single handedly. Shreyas iyer scored 58 on just 24 balls the reason of losing the match by Sunrisers Hyderabad is that they posted the target very low and after that they did not bowling well and defended this average target. Kolkata team go into the final while Hyderabad has 1 chance that they will play on Friday who's will win tomorrow between Rajasthan and Bengaluru.

The result from qualifier match was somewhat expected. KKR were the toppers in group phase and they had an easy win over SRH. Once Head and Abhishek got out cheaply in the first few overs, the outcome of the match was never in doubt. Now Sunrisers Hyderabad has another chance with them, as they take on the winners from the eliminator match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals. I would still say that SRH are likely to face KKR in the finals, as these two are the best teams as of now for this season.

Surprising that the overall discussion is missing the captaincy angle, even during post-match analysis, especially when it comes to KKR or Shreyas Iyer.

A fair amount of commentary went about Sanju, Pant even Cummins (Faf going under the radar cause of Viart) but not Iyer, considering before the IPL his career trajectory was going down but he led KKR nicely without any fuss.
