I assumed that Australia would lose today's match, but due to Maxwell in Australia, this defeat has been reversed in favor of India. Maxwell means some special moments in cricket that will defy your imagination. Just when 21 runs were needed in the last over, Maxwell played his magic to defeat India. Maxwell scored an unbeaten 104 to give Australia victory. In this case, Indian bowler Prasidh Krishna gave 68 runs in four overs at 17 overs which was enough for India's defeat.

This is the game my dear friend. I was also thinking that India will win the yesterday match but unfortunately they did not win that match. And was thinking that India will win the series but there were Australia on opposite side.
We have seen in the ICC world cup how Glenn Maxwell performed against Afghanistan. He was injured but he didn't get panic or didn't go out from Stadium he made 200+ runs in that match and also gave victory to Australia.

Just like that we have seen in the yesterday match. He played really well and made 104 runs on 48 balls and hit 8 sixes and 8 fours. And remained not out like he remained in the ICC World Cup against Afghanistan.

It will be wrong to blame Prasidh Krishna alone. Maxwell was on fire, and no one else wanted to bowl. The 19th over, which was bowled by Axar Patel went for 22 runs (including 4 byes, so they were not added to Axar's numbers). And Prasidh Krishna had bowled really well in the 18th over, conceding just 6 runs. And Matthew Wade was dropped by SKY in this over (albeit on a difficult chance). Australia needed 43 runs from the last 2 overs and it was Axar's over which changed the game IMO. He bowled a no-ball and then the extra ball was hit for a six.

In last two overs, Australia needed 43 runs, Maxwell and Wade was batting on pitch in last second overs. Both these batsman Maxwell and Wade made 22 runs in second last over and in next over they needed 21 runs for winning. Both these batsman showed their brilliant batting skills in last over and chasing all runs in last over with Maxwell also achieved their century in last balls with 4s. Everyone is talking about Glenn Maxwell who made 104 in only 48 balls and made the match in the favor of the Australian team. No doubt it was a brilliant display of batting but we forget the innings of Ruturaj Gaikwad who scored 123 runs in only 57 balls. It is only because the Australian team won the match and Glenn Maxwell was declared the man of the match.

Had it been the Indian team victory, for sure Ruturaj Gaikwad would have been in the headlines and for sure the man of the match, Nothing to take away from Glenn Maxwell but we all know he is a great player. Not many people knew about Ruturaj Gaikwad and he really surprised the cricket community with his batting skills.

Kept his nerve and hit every ball. He may be an idol of cricket for Australian people because he is a gem of Australia because of the record that he has won various matches for Australia which may be very few other cricketers in the world.

This year is probably the best year in the career of Glen Maxwell even though he had some freaky personal accidents that forced him off the field and for the longest period he would have been a player who really did not fulfill his potential with all the skills he had but his double century performance in the World Cup against Afghanistan and the innings he played today was just incredible, taking the team to victory from impossible situation has now become his forte.

Maxwell is not a consistent performer but he is probably kept in the team to cause such accidents. In the match he single-handedly won against Afghanistan, no other player would have been able to pull the team out of such a bad state. In that match against Afghanistan, he brought up a double century as well as ensured the victory of the team and then left the field. When he came out to bat in the last T20 match against India but none of us expected him to score a century because his century equation was very difficult at the time he came on the field but he scored a century and the team won. As long as Maxwell plays for the Australian team, he may remain the team's auto easy.

So I think you are being too hard on these young guys. If they don't get a chance in such bilateral then what's the use of India A performances? The majority of young guys come into the national team after performing for India A, they are not airdropped.

I disagree. I evaluated their performances over a long period of time(Not a short period) which is why I stand by whatever I stated. There are far better bowlers in comparison, but they aren't getting their chances thanks to these bad performers.

Bishnoi and Axar are the only ones who I like among them. Axar is easily one of the best all-rounders for India across all formats.

The real reason is that these pitches are batting friendly and there is not much for the bowlers to perform. In such circumstances it will be unfair with the bowlers if we only blame them. Yes, if one team was scoring less runs, then we might have blamed the other team bowling needs to improved, but not in this case.

India won the first two matches easily against Australia and in the third match too India had a great chance to win but towards the end the Indian bowlers could not bowl at all which led to an easy match lost to India. If India could have won yesterday's match against Australia, then India would have won the series with two matches in hand, but they could not use the great opportunity to win the series with two matches in hand. Even if India lost the third T20 match, it is very easy for them to win this series because now the equation for India is that they need to win one of the next two matches while Australia equation is that they need to win the next two matches by two. The third match was won by Australia and the fourth match will be more interesting as Australia must win the fourth match to stay in the series.

Arshdeep was the leading wicket taker for India in the last T-20 WC, he's also the leading wicket taker in T-20 since his debut. Krishna is fairly young in T-20I and played only 5 T-20 matches, like I said these guys are not airdropped. Krishna is quite good in 50 overs and a performer in FC/India A. Atm they are trying him in T-20, give him at least 10 matches and if he still fails then try someone else.

Speaking of far better bowlers, you can't bring anyone to the national team just like that. There is a process, you have to perform in domestic cricket then India A or if someone wants to get into the T-20I setup quickly then perform in the IPL or perform a couple of years in Mushtaq Ali Trophy and if you are consistent in the latter tournament then you are already playing in the IPL. Arshdeep did that in IPL and he's a decent performer in domestic cricket as well.  

Bhuvi and Yadav are not a contenders anymore. Deepak Chahar is good but he's always injured, guess he's coming back for the last 2 matches. Natarajan is good but he's also injury prone and got dropped due to his injuries. Mukesh Kumar is a new guy and looking decent but he took a leave recently and left the T-20 squad. Umran Malik has pace but he's not ready yet. Tushar Deshpande is a work in progress (won't get much chance imo).

Whenever the likes of Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Hardik and Shardul are not available, then management tries their best to rotate new guys on a regular basis and you have to remember you can't have 20 Men's squads for the series.

Prasidh Krishna alone should not be blamed here as he conceded only 6 runs in the 18th over but needed 21 runs in the 20th over and he could not defend even this 21 runs. In this case, Maxwell is most responsible. So for now India's misfortune should prevail here. But the Indian bowlers also tried hard to control the match but they failed only because of Maxwell.

But the win in the first and third T20 matches was very difficult, they should not blame the bowling and batting in any way. Because India won the first and second match because of their good performance. But you notice in the third match it was only Maxwell who turned the game around, Maxwell was the only Australian team to go because of his good performance. And this win was only due to experience as Maxwell led the team to victory with his all round performance and old experience.
