Mitchell was indeed phenomenal in the early days of his IPL career. Actually, his bowling performance was great in his second IPL. He was also bought by KKR in 2018 IPL auction with a good price, but he couldn't play in that season for getting injured. Still, ₹24.75 crore is overpriced in my opinion. I felt the Kenyan batsmen were helpless against the Ugandan bowlers. 187 runs is a big enough target for these teams. Had Kenya been able to stop Uganda between 150-160, the match could have been a competitive one. But Kenya did not have the ability to win by batting at a huge target of 187 runs. The Kenyan team suffered a batting disaster due to the excellent bowling of the Ugandan bowlers. Kenya's innings stopped at just 95 runs. The Kenyan team was defeated by a huge margin of 91 runs in the final match.

Uganda is doing impressive job for the last few months and their performance is increasing day by day which is good sign for them and African region even we are having some troubles with few teams like Zimbabwe and Kenya which came down drastically and now having not good signs for the improvement but good thing happening teams like Namibia and Uganda are doing good job and having good improvement as well in this match we have poor effort from the Kenyan as they leaked too many runs which bring them under massive pressure and their batsmen completely fail to handle this and give trophy to Uganda which is already qualified for the T20i World Cup 2024 in West Indies/USA.

Henry Ssenyondo and Dinesh Nakrani were really impressive during Ugandan bowling they never allow any Kenyan to play freely and create any problem for them with this performance hopefully they could be gone for long time in this region.

@WatChe I agree he’s overhyped and definitely not worth this much money but in modern day cricket you need to spend to get crazy success hence the franchises can justify their purchases. Lastly BBL was popular before IPL but post that I felt that people lost complete interest in it be the fan’s or the player’s and honestly BBL can’t compete with IPL now.

We have been witnessing for several seasons that every season IPL is more crowded and interesting than every other season. Every franchise has spent big this season to buy quality players. Kolkata Knight Riders have bought the Australian fast bowler for the highest amount of money and have also been seen to be making a huge splash with Australian players among the top ten teams in the entire IPL.  The final auction of IPL is already over where every team has tried to strengthen their team by spending money. I wouldn't be surprised by Perth Scorchers' 9-wicket win over Hobart Hurricanes. It is not unusual for the Perth Scorchers to win a match against the Hobart Hurricanes. Because Perth Scorchers is a much stronger team than Hobart Hurricanes. I think, Hobart Hurricanes as a weak team, Hobart Hurricanes team players batted very well against Perth Scorchers. And the skill of the Hobart Hurricanes batsmen was able to give the Perth Scorchers a good target. But to give the Perth Scorchers a bigger target, the Hobart Hurricanes top order batting performance should have improved. Hobart Hurricanes could have scored some more runs if the top order bats well. Hobart Hurricanes bowling side needs to improve, Hobart Hurricanes bowling side is very poor compared to batting side. I am okay if they increase the ceiling by INR 200-210 cr, in short, double the amount of the current purse and throw the mini auction in the dustbin. Sign players for long contracts (atm it's 3 years, maybe 4 would be okay), retaining limit should be increased as well, maybe 8-10 players so that they can build a fan base, nurture new talents etc. Otherwise, loyalties get mixed all the time and no one focus on new players. There is a reason CSK and MI are successful teams.

Today was the second match of this Tournament. Wellington played first turn and gave a huge target to Otago team. In Wellington team all the credit goes to one person. He is Tim Robinson who made 139 on 64 balls with 10 sixes and 10 fours. He is the player of the match too. They played really well and gave the target of 235 runs.
