We have a very entertaining twist in this fifth and final match which is playing between West Indies vs England with series is currently level with the score of 2–2 and in chase of 133 runs West Indies struggling badly we have good bowling performance from the all English bowlers which are giving their best for win of series right now we are in last over and West Indies is now having required 9 runs from 6 balls and Chris Woakes is coming for the last over which already done good job with ball and give only 19 runs and having 1 wicket in his early three overs after having two big scoring matches this is going to be good end for with low scoring and better for the bowlers as well which were hammered badly in two early games by both teams batsmen.

I think Indian players need to get more money. Bumrah was only 12 Crore while Pat Cummins was 20 crore? Starc was 24.75 crore?  Bumrah is on the same level as Cummins and Starc if not more. He deserves at least 20 crore. Other finishers/batsmen like Russow, and Head got around 8 crore. Rinktu needs to get at least 5 crore.

Imo, Head's was price was justified. I would not compare Bumrah and Cummins as Cummins is an all-rounder, Regarding, Starc yea more than necessary paid. It appeared egotistic bidding war especially on KKR's side.

He started his IPL career in 2018. And until 2022 he was relatively unknown in the league. He had a decent season in 2022, and followed it up with an exceptional one in 2023. Still 2 seasons is not enough to judge someone. If he performs well in 2024, then I would agree, but we need to wait until that happens. Anyway, at the international level he has performed as per the expectations till now. But there is tough competition and there is no guarantee that he will get a spot in the playing XI on a regular basis.

In T20 a team has to maintain the complete balance like if the batting department is good then the bowling and fielding department must be good. Due to England's poor batting performance yesterday, it was not possible to keep the West Indies at a target of 132 runs, no matter how hard the bowling line was. That's why West Indies won the T20 series by four wickets in the last match yesterday.

The target was very low in front of West Indies but England bowlers bowled well to take the game to 20 overs. But West Indies won in the end as the target was low. West Indies won the ODI series and congratulations to the West Indies team for winning the T20 series.

G Motie was player of the match with his impressive bowling figures and Phil Salt win the man of the series award after having two centuries and 331 runs in this series it's good end for the West Indies as before going to Australia they won both ODI and T20i against England.

Quite true but I feel he will make permanent place eventually. Right now, he bats at 6th position, in wc Surya was tried at this position, he failed, he'll likely stick to t20s from now on and in t20 Surya bats up in order so 6th position stays safe.

When there is Hardik Pandya available, I don't have much to argue about, he wins here.

Hardik is essentially a T20 guy. So once he is available, then it will be an automatic choice. For ODI format, I am not sure whom the selectors would prefer. But then, Rinku and Hardik are not the only guys who are competing for the no.6 spot. In the past, selectors have tried their luck with players such as Venkatesh Iyer and Wriddhiman Shaha. And there are a number of guys who are performing well at the domestic level. And for Rinku, the upcoming IPL season is very important (even for the ODI team selection).

BCCI, made cricket into a profitable than ever before and they spot the right time frame April and May which is the summer Holidays throughout the India. It doesn't mean there is no international matches in that time period and even the next year England players may not be available to play IPL and that is why Englishmen went unsold in the Auction.

Only Australian or English Players can afford to avoid IPL because they earn enough from there respective boards. For every other country player, now IPL is priority over national task. You may say there is very little cricket during IPL as most players are busy in IPL. Cricket in WI suffered alot because the board is not giving much funds to players and that's why they prefer playing leagues.

Right, I think the income of West Indies players (who's played IPL) from IPL will be several times more than the income of their national cricket board because if i'm not wrong West Indies cricket board isn’t enough rich to paid decent amount of salary to their players, on the other hand IPL is the most expensive franchise and it’s a dream for every cricketers, many players from this WI board are sold in IPL every season, they're highly focused here because of huge money. Sunil Narine retired from international level game only to play in IPL i think, he clearly said to cricket board, he's no interested to play an international match.

As above-mentioned by someone now things are going more professional in cricket like we have in Soccer, Rugby and Basketball so just because of this IPL vs all others going to happen with these are early days of these franchise system in cricket and many countries are entering but still IPL is having big advantage of Indian population and market which is giving them huge advantage no other league is near them which is also good for them and their stakeholders if we have things like these surely many players will try to stay with these franchise and will have no hesitation to say goodbye to national teams like we have De Cock situation and many others are also following and most chances in other countries will also have problem like this with there is no alternative to stop this all as Boards are not having facilities for the players like this franchise.

Rinku Singh did well in last season's IPL and in the few matches he played for the Indian team before and after the World Cup, his performances were eye-catching, so it was natural to think that Rinku Singh would have plenty of jail time in this IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders probably had a big offer ready for him but other teams didn't show much interest in taking him up which is why Kolkata Knight Riders got a talented and brilliant finisher like him at a very cheap price. Letting go of Shubman Gill was a wrong decision for Kolkata as Kolkata made it clear through their Facebook post last season that they would never let go of Rinku Singh this season no matter what the cost.

Rinku Singh averages an insane 65.50 in T20Is and his strike rate stands at 180.68. And he has similar figures in IPL as well. For the 2023 season, his average was 59.25 and the strike rate was 149.53. I am sure that he will rank in the top-5 list for the batsmen in IPL 2023. He made an excellent comeback after repeated failures. Made his debut in 2018, and in between 2018 and 2020, he played 10 IPL matches and managed to score just 76 runs. He had a decent season in 2022, but the big break came in 2023.

Yes... they were 110/4 and then ended up at 132 all out. This is when Gudakesh Motie and Akeal Hosein picked up crucial wickets to put them on the backfoot. England middle order is relatively more experienced, but they collapsed against the West Indian bowlers. Liam Livingstone made 28 from 29, and that was the highest score among the middle order batsmen. Harry Brook, Moeen Ali and Sam Curran couldn't make significant contributions. And then Andre Russell came back towards the end, to clean up England innings.

As I said they set the target of 197 runs and this was really a challenging target for Central D team. Tim Seifert played little bit well from Northern Districs and made 43 runs and he is the player of the match too.
If we talk about the bowling, so, from Central D Ajaz Patel collected 3 wickets and after that Joey Field and Jayden Lennox collected 2,2 wickets.
And from Northern Districs Mitchell Santner, Scott Kuggeleijn and Tim Southee collected 2, 2, 2 matches. Excellent played by Northern Districs.
