There seems to be an Afghan cabal inside the selection committee in GT. Omarzai, Rashid and Noor Ahmad were assured of slots in the playing XI despite repeated poor performances.  

Lol, it's indeed quite funny that most of times GT's foreign slots are occupied by Afghans.

I agree that Noor and Omarzai has been ineffective but Rashid is top-notch all rounder, there is no reason he should be sitting on bench, you can't exclude him cause of few poor bowling performances.

I totally agree with you. Needless to say, Chennai Super Kings will win. Also, the match score is very weak due to the worst performance of top-order batsmen in today's match. On the other hand, there is no one as good as Mustafizur Rahman in their bowling line. I can definitely say that Chennai Super Kings will lose today's match. It was only a matter of time before Punjab Kings won by 168 runs.

At least no major jump in the run rate but it's more than enough to get ahead of other contenders like Sunrisers and Lucknow. When Punjabis were struggling at 90/8, I thought here we go with a +1 net run rate for CSK.

Yes once again Kolkata Knight Riders made a bold performance at their batting. Specially this guy Sunil Narine was awesome from the start of this Indian premier league. They took 81 runs from only 39 balls this is really a crazy performance.
Anyway Lucknow Super Giants get into the field already and they took 70 run and they lose their two valuable wicket already and it's Arshin Kulkarni and KL Rahul. I think it will be a big loss for the Lucknow Super Giants their required run rate is over the 13run. So my point of view there is more winning chance for the Kolkata Knight Riders for today.

The contest for Top 4 is still hot even when Each team now have 3 or lower games to be played.
Punjab was already out of the tournament and CSK needed this win to keep them in the run for the title and preferably with a higher run rate. As the points are still close, there would be a number of positions that would be decided by run rate. Currently CSK are the only teams in top 5 that have played 11 matches. KKR and LSG are playing their 11th match now and Chennai would probably hope KKR wins as they might want to make their 3rd position for a while.

Sunil Narine the game charge for Kolkata and whenever at that season he stand they scored 200+ so some how we can say S.narine has huge role in current season Kolkata performance because without his contribution I think Kolkata will not get the position at which they currently stand. So again tonight through his vital contribution they goes above 230 which is a fair target for thier strong bowling lineup and just like we expect they crushed them before they settle down and get into the right track. To be honest it wasn't much worthy victory for Kolkata compared to LSG because Kolkata already secured Thier position but that defeat will runied Lucknow dream and plan for playsoff and now it's look like CSK and Hyderabad will get the third and fourth position.
