Yes in yesterday match of Lanka competition among Galle Marvels against Colombia Strikers sqaud, very close and tough competition among these sqauds were finished yesterday both squads displayed amazing performance and victory always goes to one sqauds. Galle Marvels squad has begun this match first with batting Inning by inviting of Colombia Strikers squad. Marvels squad has faced very bad defeat because only 7 scores remain for chase for but sadly Galle Marvels squad bowlers put bad inning in some last few overs. Shadab Khan Pakistan squad bowlers participated in this competition and play from Colombia Strikers squad side and he displayed their amazing performance in bowling inning and picked up 4 batter wickets who played amazing and managed good scores but his bowling experience and amazing pace wiped them. Lanka Premier League, 2024.KFS vs DAS • 1st Match. Kandy Falcons won the toss and decided to bawl fast. Gunathilaka and Kusal Perera opening DAS innings. Dambulla Sixers did not start well, Dambulla sixers lost their first wicket in the 3rd over of the match. After that Chapman and Chamindu Wickramasinghe played very good innings. Specifically, Chapman played not out 91 runs only 61 balls. Dambulla Sixers managed to score 179 runs and four wickets in twenty overs. Kandy opened their batting with a target of 180 runs. Andre Fletcher is back without scoring. Dinesh Chandimal played excellent innings he made sixty-five runs from forty balls. Angelo Mathews and Dasun Shanaka finished the match with 17.2 balls.KFS gained a very good win in the very first match.

Shadab Khan is a very talented player from Pakistan team and he played brilliant in this league and in this match for Colombo members team. Colombo strikers won the game by 51 runs and bod margin of runs. Colombo strikers have added new players in this season which perform well.Hopefully Kandy Falcons will play with performance in the future. Kandy Falcons performed very poorly as soon as they arrived and lost the match. Kandy Falcons needs a lot of hard work and if they want to final game than their team need a lot of changes and hard work.Colombo strikers playing this game amazingly. Klassen surprisingly played a fearless cricket, and it appeared he had all intentions to remove 'chokers' tag but unfortunately Miller and Jansen made sure the tag remains intact

They just tried to take the match deep because they didn't have the luxury of 8 batters like team India so they also knew one more wickets then they could lose ths match but even though after they realized the threat of Bumrah is inevitable, he just executed what he normally do and Jansen had no clue to even defend it.

Shubman Gill is likely to lead the Indian team in this series as captain. Now also have to understand from here, we will never see Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja in any T20 match except the Indian Premier League. I think, this team is good at beating Zimbabwe but we cannot expect this team good performances against stong teams like Australia or New Zealand.

I partially agree. Kohli, Sharma and Jadeja will still appear in ODI and Test formats and IPL too which is why they won't be missed much in the T20 format and they went out with a bang which is just what they wanted.

This new team will easily defeat weak teams like Zimbabwe, Bangladesh etc, but they are strong enough to hold their own against teams like NZ, Australia etc.

Maybe they are targeting CT for now. The 2027 ODI WC looks dicey to me because of their age. Kohli and Jadeja are both good athletes but still, I'd prefer if they focus the last innings of their career in the Red ball and if by any chance they are still fit in the next 3.5 years then they can give a shot to ODI as well but only on merits and not nostalgia. Kohli can do it though.

But in this case, why David Miller and Maharaj made the match difficult by leaving wickets is still not clear to me.  Coming into the last over, David Miller's aggressive batting was fine but after being caught out, the match went under India's control.

First of all Galle Marvels played really well in yesterday match they made 179 runs and gave 180 runs target to Colombo Strikers. And Niroshan Dickwella and Isuru Udana played well and both made 102 runs collectively means 50 and 52 runs respectively. After that Colombo Strikers fought really well and tried really hard to chase the target but unfortunately then only made 172 runs and they just lost the match by 8 runs. So both teams were almost equal and fought really well. By the way match was really interesting and Congratulations to Galle Marvels for their close win.

Yeh I watched them too it's was quite interesting match no doubt media hasn't given them more attention but it's really give us Joy and remind us some old memories because every legend has some attitude and same batting and bowling style which really enjoyed us. It's just craze for cricket in India, others sports don't get as much hype as cricket.

Regarding taking decade to win the trophy, I don't think it's that longer period of time, since lately ICC trophies are being given away every year. Still, if it was ODI cup trophy, I'd give it some significance, at least it's held every 4 years.
